Delicious!
All sardines/pilchards are not equal. These are extremely tasty, and I'm always sorry when they're out of stock and I have to resign myself to a less flavourful brand.Heat a little of the olive oil from the can in a frying pan, add finely chopped onion and slow-fry until soft. Add drained sardines and freshly-ground black pepper to the pan and mash it all together over the heat until thoroughly warmed through. Serve on toast (ideally wholegrain with pumpkin seed or malthouse sourdough). One of my top favourite breakfasts, and so simple and nutritious, too!

Seriously good
These are excellent sardines, clearly chosen and canned with care. I'm not normally a fan of filleted sardines ā and don't get me started on kipper fillets! ā but these have a firm texture and wonderful flavour. As good as the very best canned tuna, cheaper and probably more sustainable. I hope they'll be back in stock soon.

These are sardine fillets, so 100% edible (and 100% delicious!)
In the UK, we get canned sardines from many places around the world. I was hoping to get some from France, but none were available. But Cornwall is close (at least, to my sense of geography), and these sardines were as delicious as those from France.I have no regrets about buying them, and will buy some more, as soon as we finish the cans that came with our first order.

Sardines or Pilchards, you decide.
All very confusing as I was expecting sardine fillets but I think they are pilchard fillets. All healthy though Iām sure. Not tried them yet but they are Cornish which has to be a good thing.
