We redid my little girl's room and I wanted something that would be fun, bright and give a quick new look to her room. Not only does it lighten up her room which is painted a dark purple, but it adds a lot of pop to a small room. The other advantage to this is that she will be able to use this year round without getting hot. It is a lighter weight comforter so if you are looking for something to be really warm this may not be the one for you. I am using a warm fuzzy blanket under it to give her that needed warmth. I am going to give it a shot and see how long it will last. That being said, it was a very expensive item and it is very poorly made.I had to re-stitch around the pillow case opening cause the strings were lose right out of the package. I don't even dare wash the bed spread so I will take it to a cleaner to see what they say. The material is thin and appears to be right over the cotton padding.
