Miaco Size 10, 12 and 16 (1.25", 1.5" and 2") Clipper Guide Comb Set fits Wahl Clippers

I was worried these would be flimsy and break easily. Not so. They are well made and a perfect fit for Wahl shears, and no concern that they will break. I think they are a bit pricey for three pieces of plastic, though.

The guards were shipped fast. I feel they are durable although they feel flimsy compare to the guards that come with the clippers. I think the length of the guard may have something to do with it. I am sure they could make it sturdier, but price would increase drastically. Great to cut my own hair, no problems at all, would highly recommend.

They fit my set of clippers just fine, but the plastic is quite a bit more flexible than the guards that came with my clipper kit. Almost feel like they were 3d printed. Weren't many other options though for greater than 1".

Received these almost a week before the expected delivery date. They were shipped in a padded envelope with one of those air bubble things and all three were undamaged. We used the 12 immediately to trim and even the pandemic pixie my husband gave me using an 8 guard a few months ago and were pleased with the results. I had read through the reviews so knew the liabilities: hubs was extra gentle putting the guard on and off the clippers and was careful to avoid scratching me with the sharper ends. He said it took a minute to figure out how to effectively get the hair into a much longer guard than he was used to, but it wasn’t difficult to adjust his technique to achieve a Mia Farrow-esque style for me.

I previously ordered another set of Wahl cutting guides that had a metal clip, can in a box and seem very sturdy. These were about the same price (per item) but they seem very flimsy. But I wanted guides that we're larger than 1” and up to 2”. Sorry to say, this was all I could find offering these sizes. I just hope they last. I would have gladly paid double if they were made better. I tend to like to purchase quality stuff vs cheaper stuff. So if this is what you’re looking foras well, I wouldn’t say don’t buy it. All I would say is you should understand that the quality is a more flimsy plastic than what you might have preferred. Long term, I hope they continue functioning and don't crack or fall apart on me. -- Gary

If you find the traditional set of included guards that come with most trimmers too short these are the answer. The longest one allows for a full hair cut 2 inches long! No more waiting for a buzz cut to "grow out a little" This gives you the ability to keep the top much longer without having to use scissors. Great for diy haircuts. Fits Wahl perfectly and stays on. Very happy.

I've been cutting my hair for about 13 years, and recently recruited my girlfriend to do it for me because she didn't like my single length all the way around strategy. She was frustrated that the longest guard included with my Wahl Clipper was only 1 inch or size 8, because she wanted my hair longer on top. That's why I ordered these guards, so that we had a variety of lengths to choose from. In the end, we only selected the number 10, but perhaps in the future we will use the other lengths. I've seen a lot of reviews of these discussing how they're flimsy, and I can certainly imagine that they would be easy to break. You just have to be careful in how you handle and store them.

I used these for the first time today to give my son a hair cut. I have a set of sizes 1 thru 8, but he wants his hair longer than that, so I ordered these. It's definitely a learning curve. The times of the comb are bigger and longer and have more bend to them than my others, making it more difficult to use. I have to go much slower and repeat over the same area at least two or three times...but it did get the job done. And it was also less than what I'd pay for one haircut, so overall I'm pleased.
