He’s really advanced for his age when it comes to building, so even though the Lego City Fire Rescue Boat set was pretty simple for him, he was still thrilled to get it. He had been asking for “floating” Legos for a while, and this set was perfect because the boat actually floats in the water. We surprised him with it on his birthday, and he tore right into the box. He put the whole thing together in no time, which didn’t bother him at all because he was so excited to try it out in the pool. The pieces fit together nicely, and the instructions were really clear, so he didn’t need any help from us. What made it extra fun is that the set comes with a couple of mini-figures and some little accessories, which he used to create his own fire rescue scenariosl. I think he liked that it’s not just for building but also for playing in the water. Bought this for my 6 year old grandson. I was impressed by how great the instruction book is. He worked with his grandfather to put it together. Great quality as lehos always is. It looked great when it was finished. He had a great time playing with it for a long time when completed. They included extra parts. Very good details . Playability was great.
