I have been commissioned to paint three paintings of "push boats." These original paintings of the boats are to be presented to the person for whom the boats will be christened. The names of the boats appear twice on the vessel--once on a plaque on the "Texas Deck" and again on the hull. Some first and last names totaled 15 characters. I am a competent acrylic paint artist--but not really a sign painter and therefore painting letters is not my forte. The paintings were 22x28 inches--but the names on the vessels were pretty small. Furthermore the names had to be in white letters on brown and cobalt blue backgrounds. So...I needed a method of printing the letters in white--that would be compatible with acrylic paint--thick and rick (without show-thru) and a pin tip small enough to accomplish the task. I have had no previous experience with UNI POSCA PAINT MARKER PENS -- but I ordered some from Amazon hoping they would "do the trick." Well-- They really did. After putting down pencil guidelines, I used pencil to letter the names. Then (holding my breath) I used the paint pens to do the finished lettering. AND THE DID. BEAUTIFULLY! The thick white paint went on easily and covered the pencil lines with no problem. In minutes, with the Uni Posca paint pens, I was able to accomplish the task I had been dreading so much. And the look was professional. Thank You Uni Posca; You will stay in my Amazon Wish List for future re-orders. For $8.97 I bought 2 pens with prime shipping; to me they are worth a fortune.

Love Posca paint pens. I need to purchase more in other colors. Iuse these for adding highlight and detail to my coloring pages. They would be great for rock painting and other crafts that require paint that you cant easily control the amount on. Make great uniform sizr dots once you get the hang on the pen.

Not as much of a miracle as others made it seem but really indispensable for art. tips were larger than i expected and when you push the tip in to get it flowing it will likely spill massive amounts of ink everywhere.

They are good value for money.

Too small for my taste, and dried out too quickly, it has a nice fine point tip which helped a lot and the white is vibrant however it's just not as big as I intended/needed them to beOnly had it for a week and 1 dried out alreadyNot sure how to really feel

Love, love, love the Posca paint marker. Nice and juicy and writes like a dream. It may beat out my Gel pen. Naw, I use them for different purposes. But still the Posca is an awesome marker.
