About the best undercoat on the go.

Works great as a vehicle rust proofing undercoating
I used this product to coat the undercarriage of a Toyota 4Runner to prevent rust. Very convenient using an undercoating sprayer gun (widely available on Amazon). I used 3/4 gallon to coat the frame. Would probably use an entire gallon to coat frame and underside of body. The material is thick but still pours easily into the sprayer container. I had no problem with clogging. In the past, I used aerosol cans of Fluid Film. Using the gallon can with air compressor and sprayer ends up being easier and more cost effective. It was also quicker since you are spraying at a greater rate. I used a 5 gallon 110v compressor set at 60psi and it had no trouble keeping up. Others have said a large compressor is necessary. I did not find this to be the case. I will apply annually. This is the second time I have used Fluid Film and I can see a reduction in new rust forming. I did no prep other than knocking off a few scales of old rust. I recommend this product as a rust preventer for those driving in areas where road salt is used.

Excellent Corrosion Protection
It's Fluid Film... :)Since it's lanolin based, it breathes and is self healing, unlike some other under coatings. I've used this for a couple of years and it completely stopped the spread of rust underneath my Corolla. Good stuff.

Simply the best…
I’ve been using this stuff for the better part of 20 years. You can’t go wrong using fluid film.My only gripe is the condition I received it in. It looks like someone used it as a soccer ball. The cover was dented to the point it popped off the bucket. The handle was also broken and had to be repaired. Had the bucket not been wrapped in plastic, I doubt any product would have remained inside. The supplier needs to pack his product better for shipping.
