Great to use watercolours on canvas
Needs at least 2 layers but leaves a good finish. Two to three layers leaves a nice texture to paint on, you can sand the texture away while keeping the absorbancy but I found the vibrancy of colour wasn't as strong on the sanded side. Also tolerated drawing, acrylic and watercolour ink really well. - didn't try alcohol based ink.

Seems to do the job.Not sure if this is mention in description and I just masked it but fairly scary warning on the side of the jar (see photo) which I think people should be aware of

Good enough
The water ground is a tad runny. I think I prefer Daniel Smith'd but I guess you get what you pay for. I would however buy again
