Pabobo by Angelcare Musical Turtle Nightlight Projector

Just very plasticky & cheap looking. It came from a baby list so not my choice!

I use this as a bedside light, for illumination when waking at night and needing just that little bit of light. It's a well-made product. The supplied USB cable quite short though, so if you have quite a distance to cover you may need to get a longer one separately. There's a small light beside the USB port. When charging, the light is red, and the projector does not work (no, you cannot keep it plugged in and charged while enjoying the projection.) When fully charged, the light turns to green. When battery level is low, the light blinks red to let you know. My first full charge took a few hours, and lasted a week with moderate use (turned on once or twice each night.)I read a few reviews that complained about the shape of the stars projected. Yes, the star are of different sizes, and are not all pentacles, and the further away from the projector, the less defined are their shape when projected. I personally don't think that is of any problem at all. I actually quite like the chaotic arrangement - like a starburst. Some people complained about the lack of movement of the stars. I also don't find that a problem - in fact, if you lie under a bona fide starry night sky, you wouldn't notice any movement of the stars before you drift off to sleep. So as far as I am considered, the star SHOULD be stationary.I always manage to drift off the sleep before the projector is turned off automatically after 45 minutes. I really like that function, knowing I am not wasting a lot of power leave the light on and drift off. I don't use the music, but I tried it, and found it not too loud, nor annoying.

Since we got this our daughter loves it. It’s helped soothe her at night and the stars mesmerise her on the ceiling. Could not recommend this anymore highly

My son loves this and I love the fact it turns itself off after a set time. It is now a fixed part of the bedtime routine in our house, although we tend to only use the lights not the music as my son has never gone for it. My only objection to it and the reason it has 4 not 5 stars is that some of the Stars have not been punched out fully leaving a few funny shapes. Overall it makes little difference to the display though and for the price you can't really complain. A good projector if you don't want to add to the multiple soft toy collection as so many seem to be now.

Positives- Little and compact, light in weight and lovely looking for my star themed nursery. Lovely soft music which is pleasant to the ears. Lovely blue and green lights.Negatives - The projections aren't very powerful. In Order for my son to see the projections with definition I have had to place it in his cot on a book. It states 1 meter from a wall but my set up in the nursery which is ample size but not huge I can't accommodate this and seems a little unlikely for most nursery set us without being in the middle of the room. I also don't find the orange light very appealing.

Baby loves it, he’s only 4 weeks old but he told me that he thought it was class like..

I bought this 5 years ago for my nephew...he still has it...still working..still playing even if we never changed the batteries.so definitely recommend!!

The product didn't work correctly and had to be returned but collection was arranged quickly and easily and my refund processed immediately.I really liked the look and feel of the item, the light projection was good and quality-wise one of the better look, feel items I've seen.The sound feature was broken and played sporadically and not for long at a time. If I had more time (it was a birthday gift) I would have orders the same one again because the return was so easy and I'm sure it was a one off faulty item.
