However, the only plus point I can give this is that it does leave a pleasant aroma... for about three weeks! I wouldn't say that it's vanilla (the smell is very 'sweet'), but it wasn't unpleasant at first. However, after three weeks, it began to smell rather stale, as if someone had left a condensed milk sandwich somewhere in the car!Now, with regard to its capability as a dehumidifier: it simply doesn't work! Leaving it on the dashboard overnight, I got to the car (a small two seater sports) on the first morning of use to find that the windscreen was totally fogged up apart from a small semi-circle above the dash where the bag had been. I thought about this, and left a small sponge in the same place the next night, to find that it had exactly the same effect (without the once pleasant aroma!). After three weeks, the bag has given no visible results, and now merely acts as a rather expensive and ineffectual air freshener. Cheaper to buy a little tree and hang it from the mirror!!Don't waste your money - there are other products out there that are probably just as ineffective but cheaper! Buy a car air freshener and a de-misting sponge - you'll have a nicer smell in the car, and you can guarantee that, with thirty seconds of wiping, you'll have a mist free windscreen! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Works as suggested *by F***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 January 2017* I've been having issues with steamy windows in my car (now now!) for a while and after asking around on Twitter and getting back some bizarre answers (cat litter in tights was one), I thought I'd give something like this a try.Taking it out the packaging presents your nostrils with a pleasant smell of Vanilla, and leaving it in the car overnight left a lovely aroma in the car, but unfortunately, after a couple of days, even though the thing itself still smells like Vanilla, the smell is becoming weaker and weaker (which I suppose you'd expect the more water it collects).It also took a couple of days to get noticeable results, but am currently finding myself waiting less and less time when setting off to work in the morning as I don't have to wait for the windows to sort themselves out. Don't get me wrong - it doesn't clear up all the windows , but it helps considerably especially when I'm in a rush in the morning.Just remember to take the unit off your dashboard before you set off driving otherwise you mind find yourself trying to grab it before it either flies out of the window or ends up under your pedals when going round a corner. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great, simple solution if you have misty windscreen problems! *by A***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2018* My Peugeot 107 has a damp problem over the winter or in cold wet days - it means that for the first 5 minutes after turning the engine I'm either forced to look out port holes on the windscreen as the car heats up and the mist evaporates or leave the car running for a little bit to get into it in the hope the car has heated up enough to clear the mist before I set off!This product has made a significant difference in the mornings in taking away a lot of the moisture in the air which would ordinarily have settled on my windscreen! The vanilla scent is still there 6 months on too.
