My son’s Galaxy A10 power button just stopped working. I took it apart and the ribbon cable for the power button was cut due to the cheap, poor quality construction of the phone. Basically, the ribbon cable gets pinched between the edge of the battery tray and the back cover. Since the battery tray edge is sharp plastic, it cut the cable. Taking the phone apart was easy and so was the replacement. New power button and fingerprint reader work fine.

My power button broke and I took matters into my own hands, paying for a button replacement is just absurd for the price. It took me around an hour with a tutorial on YouTube to fix it and I love how it works. I would recommend this product if you don't want to spend more than 20 bucks on fixing your phone. It was actually very simple and easy! Definitely 10/10.

Have a professional install it. not worth doing it yourself.

This item was not the easiest thing I've ever installed. It takes patience and a delicate touch,both of which I have very little of. The new switch didn't work at first,until I gently pushed on the wire-connection to the phone-then it worked like a charm ! Please do not do what I did and pry on the phone-screen,(I ended-up cracking a tiny spot of the screen at the top🤡) the separation/opening-point is actually on the side of the phone,very-close to the on-off switch and the SD/SIM card. Go slow opening the phone,wear some thick work-gloves so you don't stab yourself with the disassembly tools. (Trust me on this🤡). If you aren't careful you can easily mess-up the phone casing.It definitely took some aggravation to do this simple job,and I even managed to crack a tiny part of the screen and I scratched-up the side of the phone etc..BUT,now the phone works fine,as a good second phone at-least !I spent about $14 on this switch vs. the cost of a new phone,so I am pretty-happy.Perhaps I should have paid an expert to do the actual work,as it didn't go too-smoothly for me.If your Samsung A13 5G phone won't turn-on,give this new switch a try !

Very happy as this product matched the description on it exactly.Pleased as well with the packaging and how protected the part was instead of just being in a bubble wrapped bag...this alone would have helped them receive a good review.No instructions included soif you're a novice be aware that you'll need some assistance.Speaking of assistance although the tools sent are adequate, they will not be adequate in allowing you to open most flagship phones. If you have an electronics tool kit you'll be fine, but personally the tools although decent will only be of good assistance if you already have the phone open which they are great at that pointDefinitely recommend this one.

A fairly simple install, but the replacement button doesn't fit exactly the same as the original. The the point that when I reinstall it and put everything back together the button wouldn't depress. I would have to really mash it down to get a response and even then it only worked sometimes. Plus the fingerprint sensor didn't work at all.
