Superb Workstation – Incredible Value
REVIEW OVERVIEW: This desk has all the functionality of a sophisticated standing workstation for the price of a regular desk at Office Depot. Backed by VIVO’s excellent customer service, there is no competition.REVIEW SUMMARY: The desk arrived in one box, timely, and with clear instructions on how to assemble. Some drilling was required, but nothing difficult a person with no handyman skills can’t handle (if I can do it, an untrained monkey can, too). VIVO Accessory installation was also a breeze. It took around 4 hours to assemble it by myself; someone handier might do it in 2.The photos show the result after the basic assembly plus around another 4 hours for the accessory additions (all VIVO to avoid compatibility issues). It feels strong and stable, and though it is slightly wobbly (I did add 4 screens...), it is nothing that really concerns me and the weight support rating can more than handle 4 screens and the monitor mount.PROS: Beautiful desk, easy assembly, strong, size just right, straight non-L desks are lame, excellent valueCONS: Somewhat wabbly (not a personal concern), would have like pre-drilled holes but that’s just gravy, wish it came with a monkeytl;dr PURCHASE THOUGHT-PATTERN: This is my personal "mental-processing" part of the purchase... I took a risk and purchased this L-Desk that had 0 reviews, fresh off the new product line shelf. What took me over the fence was VIVO’s customer service and patience in answering my super annoying questions regarding the dimensions and accessory compatibility. I felt comfortable walking into this purchase and having VIVO back me up if anything arrived defective (which it didn’t). I went from wanting to buy a huge $2k fancy-shmancy desk to getting this just-right-sized one, and have zero regrets.

EXCEPTIONAL standing desk!
If you're not searching for an $800+, then let me just stop you right here. VIVO makes $800+ desks too, which is nice, because it tells you that they know where to buy good/reliable motors.I wanted this desk as a cheaper way of supporting triple 32" monitors, since I'd have to spend $450+ just on monitor stands that I can't use unless I'm racing. With this desk, I can run triples AND use it for regular gaming. I just lift the desk a little bit when racing, lower it when doing anything else. The instructions for this desk are abysmal. Functional for sure, but it took me longer to get the confidence to get started than it did actually put it together. Everything is pre-drilled, so that helps with making it quick. I used my drill for some stuff and hand-tightened others as I don't have the extensions for tight fits, which this has a few of.It's plenty sturdy for anyone not having Wrestlemania in the same room. It doesn't wobble as I game, or even as I bounce my leg with my arms resting on it, so there's decent "shock absorption" as well. If you're uncomfortable with how it is, it DOES come with extra leg stabilizers, but I didn't even put them on. I wanted to test it first and it's perfect for me without them. One thing to note... for the side flaps... the controller mount IS in-fact pre-drilled. If you don't see holes, it's because your flaps are on backwards and need to be switched. Verify its placement BEFORE fastening them together! I didn't, but I had my drill bits sitting out next to me anyways, so I said ***k it and made my own instead of re-doing like 32 screws. Works like a charm.Super awesome desk. Quiet, SMOOTH motor. I don't need anything fancier than this. Especially when you can get this much functionality out of this price!

Decent standing desk.
Pros- Good desk.- Decent amount of space- Motor is quiet. The motor to raise and lower the desk is audible, but not loud and pretty quiet. It's more like a whirr than a loud drone that I have heard with some other, more expensive motorized desks. There are presets for sitting and standing, and it's pretty easy to use.- Not too difficult to put together. (But see Cons)Cons- Doesn't work with some Vivo branded accessories. I got the keyboard tray and corner connector, and I cannot mount the KB tray because the track is too long to fit under the desk before it hits the center support bar and the drive rod for the motor. The corner connector helps move it out, but it's not enough. The free space remaining near the front of the desk precludes being able to mount a retractable keyboard tray.- Directions could be a bit more clear and precise. However, it's still acceptable.- Not all holes required are pre-drilled. Only 4 of the bottom screws securing the frame to the desktop are pre-drilled. I had to drill pilot holes for the other 4 myself. No, it wasn't a manufacturing defect. The directions say you must drill the remaining holes yourself. It's not a difficult task if you've done it before, which I have, so it went pretty quickly and easily. However, if one hasn't done stuff like this, then it's not easy. You could screw in the screws without pre-drilling, but that can crack the wood, and is harder than it needs to be.- Control panel mounting position is also not pre-drilled. I guess this is more to allow for freedom to choose where to mount the controls that raise/lower the desk, depending if one is right or left handed. It's not hard, just annoying.Neutral- All screws are metric, and require metric holes. Allen keys are provided, but they make things tedious. If you own a drill or electric screwdriver, you can approximate with imperial drivers or drill bits. It's much faster with power tools.Even though I couldn't get the config that I had planned on, it still does the job and I'm happy with this desk. This desk is a little cheaper than some of the others I have seen that are the same size.
