Revell 39604 Contacta Professional Glue 25g TWIN PACK

I've used this glue on and off for years and I find it second only to DeLux Materials glue for effectiveness. Whilst on balance I prefer the DeLux Materials glue the better aspect of this glue is the application nozzle which, allows a very clean, effective and accurate glue line. The glue itself is thin but not quite as thin as the latest glues used. It's ideal for some applications where the super thin glues are perhaps not viscous enough and you just need a slightly thicker glue. What I do find is that the fist few applications via the nozzle seem to be a bit hit and miss and then once it's had a bit of glue used it works very well indeed. And it lasts a long time. I had one of these which was still perfectly useful after five years of occasional use. Overall a great glue for accurate use.

Pros and cons with these. The Pros are.... Good applicator needle to be precise and accurate with glue placing. Nice handheld small size. Price is not too bad. Cons are.. Quite smelly. Takes quite a long while to go off. Distorted some plastic items I was glueing to a resin base (kinda melted them a bit, but kept their shape, just made them a bit soft). Overall I think design is good but maybe not suited to what I wanted it for. I will try it with some other items to see if I get better results.

Fine nozzle is very useful, the glue is effective on plastic model kits but is not potent enough to glue polycarbonate sheet material

I have just started making airfix models due to disability issues and inate boredom!! I saw this advertised on the model box. It's perfect for those tiny dots of glue needed or for long lines to fill. Very accurate and I've not been stuck to a piece of plastic.....yet

My husband and I are both retired and needed to find a hobby to keep us occupied during this lockdown period. I have started building a 1500 piece jigsaw and he has started building models and he finds this glue perfect. I hope our confinement wont be too long as there are a limit to the number of models and jigsaws that we can accumulate.

Produit totalement conforme à la description. Reçu en temps et en heure. Les pots de colle sont bien protégés individuellement dans du carton épais et le colis en lui même est composé d'un carton bien solide. Aucune fuite à l'arrivée.

Avendo ripreso a costruire modèllini in plastica ho acquistato questo prodotto dalle ottime recensioni, mi ritengo soddisfattissimo. Il beccuccio permette di regolare al meglio e di posizionare la colla sui vari pezzi. Facile regolare la quantità colla e no scioglie eccessivamente il materiale da incollare. Lo consiglio per i principianti come me.

Er "verschweißt" den Kunststoff regelrecht, was zu einer nahtlosen und robusten Verbindung führt. Man hat das Gefühl, dass die Teile wirklich eins werden. * Schnelle Trocknung, aber mit Korrekturzeit: Der Kleber zieht schnell an, was den Baufortschritt beschleunigt. Gleichzeitig hat man aber noch genug Zeit, um die Position von Teilen leicht zu korrigieren, bevor der Kleber vollständig ausgehärtet ist. Das ist ein riesiger Vorteil gegenüber Sekundenklebern, bei denen oft kein Spielraum für Fehler bleibt. * Ideal für alle gängigen Modellbausätze: Egal ob Flugzeuge, Schiffe, Autos oder Figuren – dieser Kleber funktioniert hervorragend mit Polystyrolkunststoff, dem Standardmaterial der meisten Modellbausätze. Ich habe ihn mit verschiedenen Marken verwendet und war immer zufrieden. * Ergiebig: Auch wenn die Tube "nur" 25g enthält, ist der Kleber dank seiner präzisen Anwendung sehr ergiebig. Man braucht wirklich nur winzige Mengen, um starke Verbindungen herzustellen. Mein Fazit: Der Revell Contacta Professional ist für mich der Goldstandard unter den Modellbauklebern. Die Kombination aus Präzision, starker Haftung und einfacher Handhabung macht ihn zu einem unverzichtbaren Helfer für jedes Modellbauprojekt. Das Multipack ist dabei eine sinnvolle Investition, da man immer eine Tube auf Vorrat hat. Klare Kaufempfehlung für jeden Modellbauer!
