Breezeheat 50 inch Electric Fireplace
The fireplace is very pretty and soothing to watch. It's fun to change the colors of the "crystals" and "flames". I use it free standing (live in apt.), do wish the "feet" were designed a little different to make it sturdier on carpet. Put it together myself, no problem. There is an on/off button that you have to turn on before the remote works and I have not had any issues with the remote not working. The heater is ok, buts does raise your electric bill, won't use it very often.

Ticking sound
I just received mine today. It's beautiful, but it makes a that ticking sound drives me crazy. I don't know what to do because there's no one to contact.Update:After I wrote a review about this product, Amazon contacted me and replaced the one they gave me.
