Relatively light, spacious, inexpensive; easy to set up
I evaluated several 2 person tents in this price range, and selected this one. I bought two of them - one for each kid in the BSA. It was not the lightest, only heavier than the lightest by < 8 oz. The pole frame structure creates a spacious interior. I liked that it has two doors for access from either side, and on one side, a vestibule so you can leave shoes and a few dirty items outside but under shelter. The rain fly runs almost all the way to the ground. Because the tent attaches to the poles with hooks - not sleeves - it is very easy to set up. It packs very small. My kids are camping solo due to covid in these tents, but I really believe it can accommodate two easily (eg for backpacking trips). Despite reading about complaints about the Y-joint, they look sturdy enough and are holding up after 3 camping trips.

Pretty good tent
I bought this tent for a multi-day backpacking trip. As a relatively inexpensive tent I thought it was great. Tents don't typically fit the number of people they claim to fit, in this case a 3-man tent. However, my teenage son and I were able to fit comfortably with our backpacks between us. Without gear, I think you could fit 3 average men in the tent if you needed to.I've only been in a couple of light rains, so I can't comment on how well it holds up in heavy rain. However, the rain fly extends all the way down to the bottom of the tent (a must, in my opinion). So if leakage of the fly were to become a problem, you could probably fix it by treating with a polyurethane spray. There are doors on each long side of the tent, and the rain fly zips down to form a vestibule at each door. However, the vestibule is not very large--enough to cover shoes and other small gear. The tent is pretty easy to set up and take down. The poles are all attached by bungee into one unit and snap into place. The tent is pretty sturdy, but our poles did tend to pop out of the circular hubs, which is why I'm giving 4 stars overall. The tent stakes are perhaps more sturdy than the ones I remember from tents of my childhood, but they still bend pretty easily when the ground is tough. Fortunately, I found that staking the tent was often not really needed--at least not a complete staking. Perhaps a rigorous staking job would help with stability, but when the ground is tough it's a trade-off.Finally, I purchased a separate lightweight 6x8 tarp to use as a footprint. It was almost the perfect size and helped preserve the bottom of the tent.I had expected that after several nights of wilderness camping that I might just throw the tent away at the end. But it performed well and I expect it to get good use for a while.

Overall good value
The pleasant surprise is the interior size of the tent. It seems quite a bit more spacious than my previous tent. I paid a lot more for my previous tent, and the quality of the nylon versus polyester material is noticeably superior to this one, but that can be expected for the price differential. It is very easy to set up and I had no trouble rolling it back up and fitting it in the carry bag. I’m anxious to set it up outdoors, so I can test the stability with all of the stakes and support lines attached. The zippers seem fairly light duty, again, I’m sure a function of the bargain price.Update: After using this tent, I thought it deserved an upgrade. A couple of friends had more expensive, name brand tents on a recent motorcycle trip we took. Comparing materials they were similar to the more expensive tents (not the equivalent of MSR and Big Agnes’ high end tents, but certainly similar to more expensive, moderately priced name brand tents). It was also by far the easiest to set-up of the 3 tents on the motorcycle trip. I’m upgrading it from 4 to 5 on the basis of value and ease of set-up.

Great quality hiking tent
This two person backpacking tent is a great value for the money. It has a strong tub floor, taped seams and the best “no see um” screen I’ve had in any tent. Quality zipper and The rain fly unzipped into two different vestibules. It has lightweight aluminum poles and stakes which is an upgrade for me. Very easy and quick to put up. I’m 6’3” and I could stretch out on my sleeping mat inside. I took it hiking this weekend and I did great with the bugs, nothing got through. It was very light weight strapped on the back of my backpack. This might not be something you use all the time and it’s great for the kids indoors or outside in the backyard when you’re not camping. I would buy this tent over any other tent under $100 for hiking.

Pole fittings are too thin for the load
Product broke on the fourth time of use. The pole fittings are too thin for the load that they have to bear. The metal in the fittings ended up splaying outwards so that the poles slip right out every time. You can buy it if you want but you won't get many uses out of it. This is either a quality control issue or design issue. Flip a coin. Place your bet. Take your chance. Of course it broke 4 days outside of the return window. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ I'll change the star level for a refund.

So worth it
I was at a gathering this past week and we had days of biblical-level rain. This tent held up so incredibly well. I stayed mostly dry, had some water build up around the base of the tent but was able to remedy that by laying a tarp inside the tent. Rain fly held up incredibly well no leakage from above or the seems. Would definitely recommend this
