Look great, feel great.

These are perfect for my pixie, softball girls (ages 6 to 9). Most girls took some balls off their arms, legs, and top of their heads. Since the balls are squishy, they didnt get hurt while learning how to better position their gloves while catching.

Great balls. We use them for pitching practice inside the gym. Good feel and weight to them.

Same balls the girls use when playing 8U. Good quality and durability.

A lot depends on why you want a softie. If you are getting softies for young players that are surprised to find that softball is not soft, then this is a good starting product. It is soft enough and squishy enough that getting hit with it is not a big issue. If you are interested in training a higher level team indoors, this is a bit too soft for my liking. It does not feel quite right in the hands, is a bit bouncy to catch in a glove or handle fielding hops, and does not have quite the seams that I would like my pitchers to feel. It will definitely make an administrator happy as it is clearly soft enough to be safe in a gym.

great value for the price

Just what we wanted. Wanted to practice hitting with a UPM 45 Blue flame Louisville Slugger pitching machine and these were the correct balls. My daughter plays in 8U travel ball so this is just what they use. Will probably buy more since they were way more at Big 5.
