PYREX Dry MEAS JUG 500ML 888B000

I love this jug. It is good for hot liquids, fits a hand blender, has a pouring spout and is comfortable to drink straight from if you want to. The drawback is obvious - it is made of glass and can break. Tip, I put it onto a cork mat or wooden board when blending in it to reduce vibration, it's fine so far after a year of daily use. I have broken one but only because I knocked it off the side onto the kitchen floor, but then I melted two plastic ones before had this glass one!

I am very pleased with this jug. I use it everyday, its sturdy, easy to clean and certainly has value for money.

This just is much more useful for mixing liquids due to being taller, just be sure to expect much thinner glass than the standard and more popular Pyrex just with the handle.

I've used the same Pyrex jug for 30 years and it's a classic and as good as the day I purchased it. This is thinner glass. I expect, not so robust AND... it only measures sugar, flour and liquids. There is plenty of space on the outside to measure at least 3 other things. I usually measure in pints and that's missing. As Pyrex is French - it's written boldly in French first (and rightly so) and the English is in a very small font. Pyrex - please make contact. I could make the product much better with several recommendations.

This is a great jug. I primarily use this with my hand blender. Measure out everything in the jug and then whizz. Also really good for ice cream milkshakes.

When the "Jug" arrived it was like opening the proverbial Pass the Parcel, OK I thought It's glass they have to be careful but this was a little over the top. When I held the "Jug" in my hand [ if it wasn't for the red scale print and the lip ] I thought "blimey" it was lighter and about the same size of a Pint Glass you get in the local Pub. OK I'm a big bloke and although I am normally careful this makes me feel nervous, not like any of the other Pyrex ware I have which you can [not meaning to]"Donk" it and nothing will happen. Its described as a dry measure "Jug" but don't worry it has a red 1/2 Lt Liquid scale. As a dry scale I should imagine it works just fine,but as I said it is to light and delicate for me.

Absolutely the most useful measurer ever. I had to replace the one o broke immediately.

Very disappointed with this but not entirely surprised. The first time I bought one I was not expecting it to last long, but it survived for six months of regular use before it broke. This time it was less than a month. I don't understand why an established and respective firm like Pyrex would create such a flimsy object - just one littleaccidental tap and it's good night Vienna for this beaker.For that reason I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend this product.

Wir finden die Pyrex Messbecher Klasse. Die Größe ist super und er ist sehr handlich. Wir nutzen häufig als Hilfe für den Thermomix.

Sometimes a product just feels right. And this is one of those items. It offered valuable measurement markings on the outside, and design, and construction materials that make it a worthwhile purchase. And so this is an item that can be easily recommended in terms of its build and function. (And great for measuring out the ingredients for Yorkshire puddings)

J’utilise ce verre mesureur Pyrex depuis plusieurs mois et il est devenu un incontournable dans ma cuisine. Le format 0,5 L est parfait pour la plupart de mes recettes, ni trop grand ni trop petit. Le verre est solide, bien gradué et les couleurs rendent les mesures très lisibles, même quand on est pressé. Le bec verseur facilite vraiment le dosage sans éclaboussures. C’est un produit simple mais de qualité, fiable au quotidien, qui ne déçoit pas mais qui semble assez fragile tout de même. Je recommande ce verre mesureur Pyrex à tous ceux qui aiment cuisiner avec précision.

Vaso medidor de pyrex, muy resistente. Apto para lavavajillas y microondas. Mide sólidos y líquidos (500 gramos de azucar/400 gramos de harina y medio litro de líquido). La hendidura que trae en la boca es muy útil para echar su contenido sin derramarlo. Yo llevo varios años usándolo, lavándolo en el lavavajillas y calentándolo en el microondas y las marcas de medición siguen intactas y como el primer día.
