They were perfect for the leprechauns who tend to hide goodies around the house. I thought it was a good amount for the price and the kids loved them.I ordered them in February, so I didn't have any melting issues. I don't know if there would be melting had I ordered them during the warmer months. I can see it happening as they are a very soft milk chocolate. But all of mine were sufficiently wrapped with no goo-ie mess involved.I believe the reviews complaining about how they taste are based off of preference. I liked them but I enjoyed them with a glass of milk as they are suuuuuper sweet - however I'm not known to have a huge sweet tooth.
