Not a Mora but good for the price
A copy of the famous Swedish Morakniv design. However, they differ in both finish and materials used. The Mora uses better Swedish steels and a nice finish overall, but it costs quite a bit more and no one seems to be selling them in India - so harder to replace if lost/ damaged. This one is made in China, like most Stanley tools. The steel used is 2419 tool steel, which is a decent carbon steel.Keep in mind while purchasing, the steel used is a carbon steel and not stainless. So, it requires you to take better care of it to prevent rust/ corrosion. After use, wash and lightly oil the blade. They came sharp from the factory but not sharp enough for my taste. But just a few strokes on a honing stone and leather strop got them shaving sharp in minutes. The lanyard hole in the handle is a nice & useful design detail as is the drain hole at the bottom of the sheath (latter is a straight lift from the Mora sheath design).Overall a good all round utility knife that delivers well beyond its price point (bought for 560 on sale). I would buy again at this price point.

Exactly like the Mora companion but at ¼ of the price
Both knives are excellent. See the pictures for size comparison. The Mora is more expensive though. I have and use both knives, but appreciate the price point of the Stanley more than the Mora. Both come razor sharp from the factory. The Stanley Fatmax is worth the price, material, quality, craftsman in every way. Mora is the same but casts about 4 to 6 times than this Stanley Fatmax knife. I use both these on hikes and treks for cutting wood for fire, making a peg for the tent, cutting rope and paracord, chopping vegetables and fruits. Don't use it like an axe or a chopper and it will last a long time.

Somewhat underwhelmed
Product looked used. The very first impression was the sticker glued on to the sheath. Who is going to get the damned thing off? Who? Knife is sharp but not very sharp. Edge looks weak. Sheath is loose but for the price it looks ok but I feel I was sent a used item spoiled by heat. For the price blade is thick but blade width is inadequate for any jungle survival function. It looks like a Mora but it IS not a Mora I am afraid.

Great deal!!
A good replacement for the Mora 511.Carbon steel with a ground spine for scraping ferro rod.Razor sharp edge with a Mora style sheath.Sheath retention is strong and has the same slot as the Mora on the belt clip.Mora is so expensive here, I'd rather buy 5 of these at the same price.

DO NOT BUY
It's going to rust after everytime you will use it. It will rust just like some iron kept in moisture for years. I have bought it some 7_8 days ago and it has rust over it. DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY.Instead but solagnac camping knife for 800 rs from decathlon

Sharp blade but not stainless.
The knife has a sharp blade and a sturdy handle. However, it is not stainless, so it may rust if not properly maintained. It is well-suited for woodwork and possibly camping, but it may not be the best choice for kitchen use.
