I am impressed with the quality of this TUMELLA umbrella. Living in a city where it can get quite windy, finding an umbrella that doesn't flip inside out is a challenge, but this one is incredibly sturdy and holds up against strong gusts. ​Here is what stands out: ​1.The frame feels very high-quality and durable compared to standard travel umbrellas. ​2.It is the perfect size for my bag, making it easy to carry around every day. ​3.The material sheds water instantly, so it dries quickly before I have to put it away. 4.Convenient price and lifelong warranty. ​If you are looking for a reliable, windproof travel umbrella, this is definitely worth it! Very pleased so far though its only been used during lighter rainfall with little wind. will update once used during more extreme weather. Design is very vibrant and pretty. Material seems thick , sturdy and well stitched. Metal spines all seem pretty sturdy and durable as well. Opens very easily quickly and smoothly. Agree with other reviews in revards to closing. Finishing the closing is whats hard. Very stiff and takes a quick thrust to shut completely which canmake this difficult to use for elderly and disabled. Otherwise love it so far

Dear Annelies, This is a 5 star product in every sense of the word. The umbrellas is built strong, yet aesthetic and will serve my purposes for a very long time. With the letter you sent along with the package you said that if I ever have a problem with the umbrella drop you a note on your customer service support line and you’ll send me another one!!!! I’m not writing you on your support line because there is anything wrong with my umbrella. I’m writing to say thank you!!!! I’m in Los Angeles where it truthfully only rains a few times a year, if that. We are a desert. However, over the last few days we’ve had a rain storm, pretty significant for this town. And my umbrella quit functioning. Of course I went to Amazon, I looked around and I found your Tumella and was instantly impressed by the video of the wind tunnel and the umbrella’s strength. Again, not that I need a heavy duty umbrella, it only rains a little in Los Angeles. But I was impressed with how far you went in trying to make a very good product. Something better, more durable, more reliable than the mass market. You wanted to be better than the rest for the sake of the customer!!! This stuck with me. So I purchased it. And by the time it arrived we were still experiencing rain and I got to use my Tumella to my sheer delight. It works perfectly. But all of the above is the lesser reason of why I am writing to you. The envelope you included with the umbrella was so fantastically cute and adorable, I was instantly compelled to write to you. The letter, the font used, the picture of the family, your story of how and why you made this product, was so over the top cute I was thrilled at your extreme desire to make your customer happy. And the fact you were willing to send me a new one if this one somehow stopped performing…just melted me!!!!! This is so very unique in the age of fast, disposable, low quality merchandise. Such a breath of fresh air from an a commercial or industrial viewpoint. I have no idea who you are and I am, of course a total stranger to you. But you, your story, your product, your ability to make a superior product over the rest of the market, and your letter including your beautiful photo of your 5 kids!!! (Are those really all yours???) touched my very heart in a way that has not been done in a long time. Especially by a mass marketed product. Thank you for your product. Thank you for your human touch. Thank you for being a cut above the rest. You are obviously very special. Bought this as a gift for the grandson. The design inside is really cool. He used it twice and the top popped off. I contacted the company and they immediately replaced it with a new one. This product is very easy to use, is large enough that things in your arms wont get wet. The handle is very sturdy and easy one hand use. It fits nicely in a backpack. I would recommend this to anyone that is over the cheap umbrellas. This company is top notch!

Very nice umbrella, but not what I consider to be a “compact/travel size” umbrella. Bought this for a trip, but did not take it as it was “normal” size and heavier than I wanted. Trying to decide if I will keep it, as I really like the color for summer use (instead of the other black umbrellas I have)…

This umbrella seems really sturdy and able to withstand high winds. Although I haven’t tested it yet, it opens and closes easily and is impressively well made.

I've ordered many umbrellas over the past few years because I use them for sun protection. I will never purchase another brand again. Since owning this umbrella it quickly became my favorite due to its gorgeous print and durability. When the button seemed to become stiff and it was hard to open and close the umbrella after almost 2 years of use, I emailed the company and they sent a replacement! I am thrilled with the product and the customer service!

I love the sturdiness of these umbrellas. I bought two early Jan 2025. Unfortunately after a few months, one of them stopped working and I was unable to close the shaft (the other one is still in mint condition), so after reaching the Tumella team and providing evidence of the issue, they were happy to send me a free replacement. They were speedy in their reply and followed up all the way through until they knew I was happy with my replacement which I received within days. Overall I am a very happy customer and would definetely recommend buying!

The umbrella looks nice, feels well built, and easy to use. Have used in sunny, windy, and rainy conditions - does a good job. A tiny amount of water gets through the wind vents under extremely heavy rain, but this can be mitigated by holding the umbrella at a steady angle. So far it's a reasonable compromise considering how well it's holding up during heavy rain and wind.

Like many, we have purchased several umbrellas that have disappointed in their quality and longevity. We decided to purchase two of these. Delivery was quick and we are very pleased with the quality and build. To use, remove from the holder, unravel the velcro tie and push the button in the handle. The spring-assisted opening is instant,and strong, so please avoid opening in close proximity to another person. If you are inclined, you can assist the opening speed by partially dampening the opening by pressure on the top. A bonus of the effort necessary to close the umbrella should be deemed as a comfortable physical exercise for the arms and chest! But, that displays the strength of the mechanism, and is supported by a lifetime warranty. We are very pleased and confident our umbrellas will outlive us and continue to give good service to our family members. It really is compact, superior, strong, and beautiful,
