NOT GOOD
As an ex chef I was sadly dissipointed in this product, lacking in flovour and difficult to cook out, biitty. No wear near the call of other tarragan produts I have used. I thought organic product would be better sadly no.

Powerful tarragon in a handy pouch
Very nice quality tarragon in a convenient resealable pouch.Good strong flavour that must be used sparingly to avoid overpowering the dish.Fantastic with mushroom or in a white sauce.

Pleasant flavour for adding to dishes
I make a chicken and tarragon pie every now and again and always need a good supply of tarragon, I prefer to use fresh when it's available but as it's not always easily accessible having some dried is always handy. This packet has plenty of decent quality dried tarragon to last a good while, the best before date was early 2025 so should be used well before that. The packaging is easily opened and sealed when done, made with fully recyclable materials and they've added a QR code for some recipe ideas should you need some inspiration, all nice touches. The pouch is handy for anyone without a traditional spice rack for jars and is easily stored away in cupboards.

Perk up your meal
Flavoursome and it went very well when I added a little to a cheese omelette.Comes in a resealable pouch and there's several months to use the product up.

love this
so fond of tarragon, especially with chicken, but often find it dry and dusty. This is zingy and flavourful. Would get again.

Lovely quality but expensive dried tarragon
This is great quality dred tarragon, which we will be using to add to egg and chicken dishes. It is great that it is GMO-free and organic, but it does seem quite expensive at the asking price of £7.76 for 50g, at the time of writing, which is why I have taken off one star.

Smells wonderful: almost universal in its usefulness in savoury dishes
Tarragon is less familiar to many people than the herbs – parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme – pulled into the front rank by the song ‘Scarborough Fair’, but many of us probably consume it at least as often as any of those (excepting parsley), if we did but know it.Some time ago, I was moved to relieve my own ignorance about tarragon and the note I made reads, ‘particularly suitable for chicken, lasagna, fish and egg dishes’. That doesn’t leave a lot, does it? Throughout the year, I almost invariably have a vegetable soup on the go and (beetroot/borscht apart) tarragon is almost invariably one of the herbs I use.Tarragon is also one of the herbs in my standby herbal fish seasoning. The Wholefood Earth sample I received is fairly finely chopped and smells just wonderful. Its ‘Best Before’ date is January 2025, about 19 months ahead of when it was delivered. It comes in an all-plastic pouch that Wholefoods Earth say is ‘Eco-friendly and fully recyclable’. It doesn’t say so, but is – I think – a candidate for the ‘Soft plastic’ skip at a supermarket, rather than the box of harder plastics collected from home. The label is paper and can readily be peeled off for recycling (from home) with other paper. The best part of the packaging may be that it has a built-in reseal strip towards the top. I don’t always get on with those – sometimes end up cutting them off sticky things like dried figs – but this one works well. Additionally, the pack stands upright on its own base, looks good, and even feels nice. So, good in every way.

Fragrant,dried Tarragon
This 50 g bag of dried, organic Tarragon is currently selling for £8.62 on Amazon. The herb is fragrant and tastes great in a variety of Mediterranean dishes and soups. For 50g though the price is very steep for just 50 grammes of the herb,so I am going to knock off 1 Star on account of this.Good product -my rating is 4 Stars.I hope you will find my review and images helpful.
