what more do you need in a sticky note?

Worse than useless. Come loose with any movement of page - IF stick at all . Awful. Just colored notepads. Total waste of money. If only some company would sell a variety of colors to choose from, with reliable adhesive. Exasperating to try to get wanted colors that stick properly .

My main concerns were if the paper would be flimsy, and if the adhesive would be "strong enough to stick" without being TOO strong. The paper is fine and so is the adhesive. There's a nice selection of colors, with four really vibrant, and four more sedate. I use different colored sticky notes to code notes to myself by category and eight colors is more than enough, and this gives me colors the office supply room doesn't.

I make lists...and notes...and I put them everywhere. These bright color sticky notes are vivid and easy to see, and having a stack of 8 different colors is great if you want to color code. The purple color is a bit dark and not easy to read, but perhaps if you have white or metallic pens it will contrast and you can see it better.The adhesion is a little weak and a couple stacks came apart, but that was not a big deal because then one stack became two and now I have an extra stack to have in another space that I may have a thought that needs to be written down before forgotten. This probably would not great if you need it to stick somewhere for a bit of time, but that defeats the temporary aspect of their purpose, I think?They're easy to remove and leave no gummy residue which is good for documents I am reviewing or for the cabinets/counters that I stick them to.

These sticky notes will compete with the more popular name brand versions. The paper quality is good and the adhesive helps keep the note stuck without curling or falling off. After removing the note and re-sticking it numerous times, the adhesive still holds. The purple ones are a little dark for use, but the other colors are great.

This is exactly what I was looking for-brightly colored note pads that are very sticky. Great price for 8 pads.
