I built a Jointing Jig from Baltic Birch plywood for use on the Table Saw. I also made my own clamping bars out of a scrap of Oak. On All my previous jigs requiring a hold-down I chose the T-Track method. After slightly pulling out the screws fastening the T-Track one time, I decided to go with the dovetail method for the first time. Wow, this worked out great. The Microjig Matchfit Dovetail hardware worked fantastic. I cut most of the dovetails on my old Craftsman Router Table. The three center cross-cut dovetails had to be cut with my Milwaukee trim router. Using a 1/2" 14° cutter, set to 3/8" deep, all the slots came out fine. The Matchfit hardware fits like a glove. You can't beat the price either. Six sets of hardware for $16 is well worth it.I very happy with this purchase.

Wanted to make a couple of simple jigs for the table saw and decided to try this hardware instead of the dovetail clamps. The jigs that I made are much lighter, smaller, adaptable and easier to work with than the typical jigs that I make. Almost as important, the jigs are easier to store in a crowded workshop. These units are so inexpensive that I decided to not knock down the jigs after their use and to purchase additional sets. The bolts come in a few sizes and it is best to determine the appropriate length when purchasing. It is minor, but still frustrating, to have the taller bolts get in the way of using the jig. Highly recommended.

I think Micro Jig makes some of the best accessories in woodworking, all at a competitive price. This latest offering is no exception. High quality, color coded, easy to use, and multiple applications limited only by your imagination and skills. I have loads of Micro Jig accessories for building various jogs out of MDF, and this is a great addition to the arsenal. Recommended.

The microjig dovetail hardware is very high quality and built to last a long time. This hardware pack comes nicely packaged with all the pieces securely contained in a bag within a box. No pieces escape in shipping! Everything arrived in good shape.My entire work holding surface is based around the microjig dovetail hardware and I have been very happy with the ability of these little dovetail pieces to keep everything locked into place. I have been using the 1 1/2 inch sizes for quite a while, but I keep coming across situations when trying to hold thicker materials that a little longer would have been useful.This kit addresses those needs and does so very well. These slid into my existing work-holding pieces and into the existing dovetail tracks. I did notice that these pieces fit into my existing dovetail tracks a bit more snug than any of my other dovetail hardware (I own two other kits, 12+ pieces). I'm not sure if this is just because these are new, or if something has changed slightly in the manufacturing/design. Upon further investigation, it appears that these are just slightly taller, which pushes them down in my dovetail track a little further. The angle is the same and the fit is just right, but this being slightly taller makes the piece very snug vs. being easily slide-able throughout the track like my other microjig dovetail pieces. I tried to picture these side by side and the difference is unnoticeable in the pictures. This is not a show-stopper by any means. They still work. When I cut my next wasteboard with the dovetail tracks I will cut them slightly deeper to accommodate the slightly larger base.I'm very happy with this dovetail hardware pack.

These 2" long dovetail track screws (six in package) are just as expected from Microjig. I use their Matchfit dovetail router bit for making clamping grooves, which these fit in very well. A standard 14 degree dovetail groove also works, but I like the nice rounded top edge of the Matchfit cut grooves for tooling grid stuff. These track screws are nicely made. There is a press-fit solid brass insert in the base of the wing knobs to interface with the black oxide coated steel threaded stud (fits 3/16" diameter hole). There is just over 1-1/2 inches of capacity between the working base surface and bottom of the knob with full thread engagement of the wing knobs. The knobs have a 1/2 inch diameter bearing surface. The wings on the knobs are 1.1 inches across. The knob spins down on the stud very smoothly and quickly. I installed one of these and tightened the knob down as tight as I could, on a 3/4" wood spacer, with my unassisted hand - got it pretty darned tight (hard to get back loose). It held solid. After disassembly, visual inspection showed no damage at all to the dovetail slide, stud, or wing knob. All my Microjig items work well. These longer stud length track screws are no exception.
