Great product. 3 coats applied on kitchen worktops. Applied easily. Gave it a good 10 hours between coats or the next day. Finish is great and wood protected once again.

Amazing product. We tried matt (3 coats) before settling on 2 coats of satin. We prepared the wood using a carbide scraper. That’s the heavy lifting part of the job. We did one full sand at 80 grain then one with 129 grain and finished with one at 240. We used 9 sheets of lint free clothes. This was for a large wooden kitchen work surface. It now looks like new. We used 2 tins.

I wanted something to brighten an old window ledge and opted for this product. I followed guidance from other reviewers ie applied the first coat with a brush, I subsequently added a number of coats by cloth rubbing it in. I probably ended up using more of the oil the strictly necessary but I was really pleased with the outcome. I read in another review that the label on tin said satin but underneath the tin said matt. I had that experience in terms of labelling but decided to press on (couldn't be bothered to return it). As per the picture the outcome looks satin to me so the labelling looks accurate. Too soon to comment on protection but I was pleased with the quality of the product and would purchase again.

Bought this to put a nice finish and shine to a man cave bar top made of walnut wood. Was easy to apply and did a splendid job of a finish. Still looking great. It is pricey, but if it’s quality you want you can’t go wrong. Could have used a smaller tin as it goes a long way!

I fitted hardwood work surfaces in the kitchen and used the thin version of this oil for the first few colts to soak right into the wood. However, bought this thicker oil to finish the final two coats. My work surfaces is not only the look amazing but our hard wearing this product is super superb. I cannot recommend it enough.

I've used several Osmo products in the past, and all have been excellent. This is no exception . Sanded down a big pine topped dining table and gave it a couple of coats of this . Brings out the natural colour of the wood and leaves a lovely hard wearing finish. Don't worry about spilling red wine on it,and don't panic about clearing it up . It will simply wipe off. Strongly recommended 👌

Kitchen install finished on the Friday , advised to oil wooden worktops . My Osmo oil arrived on Saturday , I also ordered some lint free cloths but on arrival a roller was suggested on oil container , which would be a good idea . Oil went on easily , with the cloth . The following day I reapplied it as directed , it has a pleasant smell which disappears when dry . Now I just have to wait and see how it works . Was a little sticky until it dried but I only discovered that when accidentally touched the worktop . After drying time complete it as fine , leaving a soft sheen to wood surface . For ease of use definitely recommend .

Very good oil for my oak kitchen worktop. 5 coats on bare wood for shiny and smooth surface without any stickyness.

En realidad es una combinación de aceites y ceras, que no sólo sirve para encimeras de cocina sino para acabar al aceite cualquier mueble en cualquier madera, con una terminación increíble que no admite comparación con ningún otro aceite del mercado, además que que, a diferencia de la mayoría de los aceites, este no se va perdiendo con el tiempo y mantiene espectacularmente el avivamiento del tono y el suave y consistente brillo que proporciona. Producto, más que inmejorable, prácticamente increíble. Bastante caro, pero no querrás probar otro cuando lo hayas usado.

Good stuff

Purchased for a dining table extension as it was food safe. There are a few YouTube instructional videos showing how to apply for best results. Allow recommended drying times and very light sanding between coats.
