What a beautiful bulb almost alive

They look great but if your after some light from them....no.

I bought these bulbs to go in old lamps that I reconditioned for resale. I needed small bayonet fittings and my local shops do not stock this fitting.One of the lamps had one of these flicker lamps so I wanted to replace it.The delivery came promptly and safely. All of the bulbs worked and have a good effect. Happy to recommend.

I ordered 4, only 3 worked sadly. I have three mock gas lamps so wanted the 4th as a spare.They do look lovely.I previously bought modern flame bulbs that didn't look like flames at all, more like a light house flashing on and off. These, which were much cheaper, do look like a flame, especially if you have them behind a frosted glass shade.People keep banging on about how they give no light. Back before electricity, before gas lamps, people bought candles, people struggled to light a room with a simple candle and would have definitely struggled to read using one. This bulb gives off an authentic flicker. It's not possible to have both flicker and 60w/100w lighting.I really must contact the seller regarding the broken bulb!

The media could not be loaded. They were not of the quality of the ones pictured.Two of the four had very dirty glass, on the inside, so it wasn't possible to clean them. This meant they weren't pretty to look at, at all.On one of these, the glass was also loose on the base, rendering it unsafe to twist the bayonet into place.Ended up getting a refund and purchasing a set of LED ones instead.

The media could not be loaded. Great mood lighting, they do not give off alot of light, but perfect for the real flame look.

I wanted the bulbs here in time for Christmas and the seller did their utmost and we got them despite Royal Mail strikes - so I thank them for that. Sadly one of the bulbs were smashed but luckily I bought two more than I needed. These bulbs are purely for effect and nothing else. They are similar to a dim flickering yellow/orange candle flame with no brightness at all. I would have liked them to be brighter but they are not. They will most certainly do until I find something better to put into our ornamental chandelier.
