MARINA Submersib Pre Set Heater 50w 15cm

The heater has no way to know what temp it is at due to no markings on the turn nob on the top like most others have.

I bought one of these (the 50 Watt Mini Version) for use in my 10 gallon tank so that it would take up as little space in there as possible. After using it for 3 months, I haven't had a single problem with it and it keeps the water at a steady temperature with fluctuations not amounting to more that a single degree in either direction. That's pretty good going for such a small unit. It also cools down very quickly when you need to empty the tank for a 'fish out' clean up. I was so impressed that I bought a second one for my 4 gallon shrimp tank, been using it for about a month in that. Again, I've found it to hold the water temperature steady which isn't always easy in a small tank like this.The unit is entirely submergible and the temperature setting is easy to adjust with dial at the top.

Thermostat light stopped working within 24hr.Overheated tank an I only just saved fish.Not recommended.Surprising from Marina and Hagen as they have been around for years.

Being only 50W. it has to work hard to keep temperature up I think I should have gone for more power but it is nice and compact and would be ideal for a small tank in a heated room .

I previously bought a different heater which was supposed to be designed for a 25L tank but it wasn't up to the job and my tank never got above 23 degrees, so I took it back. Within a few hours of installing this heater my tank was up to 26 degrees and ready for my fish to be added :) Since then the tank has maintained a consistent temperature. The heater is nice and small and doesn't detract from my tank décor at all. Impressed with it.

I bought two of these aquarium heaters. One for a 25 litre tank and one for a 57 litre tank. Both has kept the required temperature for a mini size heater.

Good compact sized heater but impossible to set dial to temperature as no markings.

Used as an emergency back up heater when had to move some fish, did exactly what we wanted and is now in a small set up in the kitchen

Funciona muy bien y a la tortuga de mi hermana parece encantarle. Se pasa buena parte del día encima, sobre todo cuando quiere dormir. Tiene regulador de temperatura por lo que no hay problema de que la tortuga se cueza.

Kleiner uns praktischer Heizer, aber ist etwas schwierig in der Handhabung, da aber jeder Aquarianer ein Thermometer im AQ haben sollte sehr brauchbar benutz es für ein Reserve-Becken für Quarantäne, und soll jetzt nich der Luxus sein nur das die Fische keinen Temperatuschock kriegen.Für diesen Fall die Beste Lösung, Pflicht ist aber auf jedenfall ein eigene Tempreaturmessung mit Nachkontrolle fals man diesen Heizer verwendet.

Bought this because it was a cheaper option and I just needed it for a 10 gallon aquarium. I knew it didn't have temperature markings on the dial but it is still a weird omission. Set it up and it never worked properly. On the lower to sub middle setting it wouldn't turn on at all ( temp dropped below 22c). I turned it to the middle and it turned on, but then it wouldn't turn off even when the temp hit over 30c. At this point, even if I turn the knob all the way down it wouldn't turn off. I unplugged it and it went back to the above and repeated. It basically wouldn't turn on at all or would turn on and just stay on. I have 2 fluval submersible tube heaters and just ordered a third and am returning this. Its not worth trying to save money on some things.

Buena relación calidad precio, muy exacto en la temperatura. Cumple perfectamente para calentar un acuario de 50 litros.
