Product was delivered on time. Looks even better than the illustrations on the website.Quality of packing is questionable as the components appear to not be restrained adequately inside the box. Hence, when delivered the spindle on the supporting tripod base was projecting slightly through a hole in corner of the box; the relatively small expanded polystyrene protection cap used on the end of the spindle having been dislodged and was found lying loose inside the box. However, the metal spindle was undamaged, perhaps due to robustness of the materials used.The product comes in two parts, the seat and the supporting tripod. Assembly is very simple and only requires the hole in the metal casting attached to the underside of the seat to be located into the end of the spindle, then securing by hand tightening the winged screw clamp. Reverse actions to dismantle. The tripod legs open easily by sliding and are secured in position by friction clamping to the outer tubular metal sleeve of the spindle by means of the hand tightened winged screw. The seat is raised and lowered by loosing the clamping winged screw beside the knurled threaded section, spinning the seat on the threaded spindle, then securing the seat at the desired height by re-tightening the winged screw. The threaded spindle is robust and adjusts smoothly. The metal components are finished in good quality chrome. Assembly and adjustment is easy once you worked out how it fits together as assembly instructions were not provided. You don't need an IQ of 120.The range of vertical movement achieved was 47 to 60 cm and was very stable (for a 75kg user) even at the maximum extension. I will not be using this stool for its designed purpose as a drummer's throne hence cannot comment on suitability. However, the quality of the structural materials used, the finish and construction are impressive and should provide a functional and durable product for its designed purpose.I came across the product while researching for a easily transportable, collapsible, robust, relatively light weight, height adjustable seat for use at the rifle bench rest when shooting at the outdoor ranges at Bisley. This stool ticks all my boxes hence expect it to be fit for its unintended purpose and as a bonus the tripod arrangement should accommodate any uneven ground. Although the seat cover is in a soft PVC material which should be water resistant, the stitching may not hence I may need to use a slip-on waterproof seat cover (something similar to a clear plastic elasticated shower cap?) as temporary protection on wet weather shooting days.Very satisfied with the quality, functionality and price of the product.

The Stop end ( A Circular piece of plastic of Screw spindle was unattached it is normally held in place with small Allan Bolt.. the thres of the Allan bolt was crooked...but with some fiddling around i replaced it with one of many i have and its fine now...This Stop end stops the Thread spindle from coming out of the top totally..Tiny safety feature..but unless your a 7 foot. Mick Fleetwood drummer you would never need the Spindle adjusted to that length..in any case..but with out it if lock screw is left loose the spindle could fall out in transportation and it's sturdy and heavy enough to break a toe..But its very good it's so Sturdy..and strong... The seat is firm and large enough.. It's Vinyl so just how well it will stand up...over time but it is very well made.. So what i am going to do is get some nice Leather.. From Pittards in Yoevil there off cuts are really cheap for great leather and come in many Colours..even Camoflage leather. and i will use Leather glue to fix it to this Vinyl one .. the The i assume plywood base is of around 8 to 10 mm... so plenty for Tack down or screw the additional leather to the seat.. and suddenly a £50 odd Drum stool becomes a £100 plus Drum stool... !!.

I bought this a few months ago. It looks good, is well built and just does what it should. Having used it ever since, I would confidently recommend it to anyone weighing up the options.

Es bastante estable, muy correcto para el precio que tiene.Mido 1’83 y peso 83 Kg, con lo que tengo que regularlo casi al maximo de altura, y aún así no se desestabiliza prácticamente nada.

Fantastico... comodo, stabile e con un'ottima meccanica. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che cercano uno sgabello valido ad un prezzo giusto
