This is a decent scanner that can scan mainstream 1D & 2D barcodes. It can scan from various devices making it really versatile! You charge it on the wired base then it can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth; when using it there are vibrations that indicate when barcode has been scanned, which is handy if you aren't close to the laptop/tablet. Perfect for a small dispatch or warehouse. There are cheaper alternatives, but this does the job well and has a decent battery life, so worth the money.

This scanner has an excellent ergonomic design and feels comfortable and solid in the hands. It looks like a well-put-together device, although some additional rubberised bumpers to protect the corners from knocks and drops would have been a good improvement. It does a good job of scanning standard barcodes and QR codes, including barcodes displayed on a screen (thanks to its CMOS sensor). The scanned codes can be transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth to a connected device. Alternatively, the scanner can be connected directly to your computer via USB, or the charging base can be connected via USB and then the scanner connects wirelessly to the base. A successful scan is confirmed via the built-in vibration feature. The standard way to recharge is to dock the scanner in its base (which must be plugged in via USB). You can also plug in the supplied USB cable directly to the scanner if needed. All these basic features worked well and without issue for me. My biggest gripe with this scanner is the lack of a physical power button, which seems like such a basic fundamental feature that anyone would expect a scanner like this to have! It's not just about conserving battery power, it's also about ensuring the scanner isn't accidentally triggered when being transported etc. The manufacturer has replied to all the reviewers complaining about the lack of a power button as follows: "The scanner will turn off when you hold down the trigger for 3 seconds or leave the scanner idle for 10 minutes. In this case, one press of the trigger can restart the scanner." The scanner isn't really turned off in this way though, it's just on standby and can be woken up too easily in my opinion by pressing the trigger. My other negative is that the price seems excessive, given the quality of other cheaper scanners offered by Inateck (and other manufacturers). Before purchasing this scanner, it's worth checking what else is on offer at a lower price point, in case a cheaper alternative offers all the features you need. To summarise, this scanner does a good job of scanning barcodes and is nice to hold and use. It should have a physical power button, and the price is perhaps a bit high. I can't give it the full 5 stars, so it gets a solid 4 stars from me.

Excellent Inateck 2D 1D QR Wireless Barcode Scanner, easy to install. easy to read barcodes on phones or tablets screen including 2D barcodes and all 1D barcode types. I really liked the client's work using vibration notification I have to admit that it is the fastest. Easy to charge and transfer data to the PC, using the smart base which can be connected to the PC via a USB cable (included), and charge the scanner This scanner provides 3 connection methods. 1- Phone or tablet connection using Bluetooth which required a configuration. 2- Use USB Plug, which is the easiest configuration required. 3- Using wireless mode via the smart base. This scanner provides the ability to save barcodes in a buffer The scanner is a bit pricy but doing a perfect job! Very satisfied!

This is a 1D and 2D handheld barcode scanner with built-in rechargeable battery. It support connectivity to a PC/Mac using wired, wi-fi or bluetooth. Things I liked: - fast and accurate barcode reading - feedback either as beep or vibrate - easy to use - comfortable trigger action This is an amazing barcode scanner. Much faster than attempting to use a smartphone camera. Highly recommended if you are an eBay or Amazon FBA seller.

Very useful kit. Bluetooth connection with phone or laptop, scans barcodes and QR codes with ease. Can also connect via USB or the included 'smart base'. Almost no set up, easy to use. holds charge for ages. Absolutely brilliant, 5 stars.

The barcode scanner is built from strong plastic mouldings, but it has no bump protection areas, so it's a good idea NOT to drop it. It arrives, as a simple 2 part offering, a charge and connection base and the scanner itself that neatly slots into the base. A USB lead is supplied for connections When the scanner is plugged into a PC, it's always active, charging and ready to use. Unfortunately, it has no on/off switch, so when it's out of the charge base, it will be always active. Not the best idea for conservation of battery power. The scanner comes with a user guide, except it's not. It's a whole series of bar codes that will make different setting son the scanner. I have to scan whatever setting I want in order to turn it on or off and then save it back to the software. The scanner comes with a USB type B lead, similar to ones used from printers. This can power the base, or alternatively, be used directly into the scanner itself, if the battery has gone flat. scanning bar codes works well, also QR codes. Well, I would expect this as the whole manual is made up of them, with very little text. The manual does however present a potential problem: there is no way to change any settings unless you have the manual, so it's imperative not to lose or damage it. Is this the one to get? Inateck sell other scanners that are cheaper, more robust and with different features. It would be a good option to check out their alternative options beforehand to make sure you are getting just what you want.

I'm using this Inateck barcode scanner to scan product UPCs for research purposes, and it's working great on MacOS! The scanner functions as a keyboard input device when connected via Bluetooth to my MacBook Pro. I place the cursor where I want the code to be entered, such as a browser window or Excel file, then scan the barcode. The code appears on the screen instantaneously. There are dozens of features that can be enabled or disabled by scanning various QR codes in the owner's manual. These include enabling / disabling bluetooth, adjusting the volume or silencing, and even settings to reformat the output text. It's highly configurable. The QR codes can be copied and placed around a work environment to assist with repetitive tasks. I recommend reading through the various settings options before using to better understand the capabilities of the barcode scanner. The scanner itself is made of a durable plastic. It's lightweight, ergonomic, and feels comfortable in my hand. The charging stand features a USB-B port and includes a USB-B to USB-A cable for direct connection to a laptop or computer, or to a USB power adapter (not included) for charging when not use. There are many use cases for this scanner, and I've only scratched the surface of what it's capable of. It has saved me a significant amount of time with my research work.

Ein super Steamer mit viel Power!

This scanner works great. All I had to do was plug it into my Dell laptop pull the trigger and it started working imediatly. I use it for our filing system at work. We use Opus and it works perfect with that system. The range on it is as avertised. I've used it up to 150 Ft away with no problem.
