Candy KSEC8LF 8KG Freestanding White Condenser Tumble Dryer

I have had this drier previously and loved it so opted for the new updated version when needed a new one. Lovely large water collector and the lint filter in the door is much better with this model. Great appliance for the price as purchased with Black Friday discount so made me able to pay the £15 for the unpacking+removal of my old appliance.

Had the condense dryer for over a year. It's great as we have a large family. It can be a bit loud (that's why I've not given it 5 stars) but we are use to it now. Quality and fit in the kitchen is great. It's easy to use and comes with instructions. Just got to remember to empty the water tank regularly, but it will let you know.

Didn’t work, had to send it back from the off

Frustratingly this tumble dryer started malfunctioning the second day I used it. Having been quite quiet on day one, it was significantly louder when it was being used from day two - a constant, low-pitched, rumbling sound. Then it started refusing to operate. Every few minutes into a cycle the “empty water container” indicator light would come on, the alarm would sound and the machine would stop, despite the fact that there was barely any water in the container. I emptied the small amount of water; I emptied some from the water tank in case the fault was there instead; I emptied the lint filter and made sure it was clear underneath it as well; I tried using different settings; I moved the unit further away from the wall, and turned off the radiator near it in case it was a ventilation issue; and I emptied some of the clothes in case it was registering as being overloaded (despite ending up with only around 1½ kg of clothes which had already been through a spin cycle in the washing machine). Absolutely nothing I tried made any difference and it still refused to work. After going through all of these steps nine times, I eventually gave up and rang Candy, who said they couldn’t send out an engineer to look at it for 10 days. They offered me the ‘opportunity’ to pay £4 a month for some kind of insurance so that if the machine couldn’t be repaired by their engineer I would get a new one (vague suggestion it might have been a refurbished one, at that). I had already registered the product for warranty straight after it was delivered and it is covered by a guarantee. Regardless, it is a brand new machine that stopped working within days of it being bought, so I politely declined. Credit to Amazon. I’ve arranged for it to be returned and refunded with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I really can’t recommend this tumble dryer at all. I would give it -5 if I could!

This dryer is excellent, and value for money, plus the delivery duo were outstanding, quick, careful and friendly.

I personally think the tumble dryer is really good.. just don’t over fill it! Dries quickly..Value for money, Noise level is what you would expect with a tumble dryer, and it’s easy to use and clean.. Good performance! Yes I would recommend this dryer! Oh one warn of warning, the WiFi touch thing only works for Android not Apple.
