Like many other reviewers, I found the shirataki noodles downright nasty. Zucchini noodles turned my recipes into SOUP, and many no grain noodles were loaded with CARBS. Before resigning myself to only eating noodles form roasted spaghetti squash(which I like), I tried these lasagna noodles, but in the traditional way of boiling. I made my own sauce with my roasted romas and garlic, which is a fresher tastier sauce than out of a jar. The dish tasted good but, no matter how long I baked it, ended up a watery mess! I should have NOT boiled nor soaked the noodles, given the runny but tasty sauce and moisture from the, cheeses and cooked drained spinach. I had to serve it to hubby in a pasta bowl; but he raved about how “tasty” it was and didn’t mind the soupiness! I followed directions and soaked these for a minute or two in water to make them soft and pliable, sprayed my pan lightly with oil and assembled as I would normally. I used one and a half boxes to make a 2 qt lasagna. 1/8th of the casserole with a salad was very filling and tasted great. I didn't use a very liquid sauce because I was in a hurry and didn't make enough so the noodles didn't have a lot of fluid to soak up but my family loves al dente pasta so it wasn't a problem. I soaked 2 packages so I had a half a package of softened noodles left, I placed them in a ziploc, squeezed out the air and saved them for the next day. The next day I took them out, they did not stick together cut about 6 sheets up and made a quick soup with a left over piece of chicken and broth topped with onions. Delicious!
