Elephantastic!
When researching dish drainers I found that the ones without cutlery drainers were better organised; with one duly purchased it was a case of waiting until the right product for my knives and forks came up...Upon seeing this I knew it was going to be a one-click purchase and I am very happy with it! It isn't over-designed and the trunk works delightfully over the edge of the sink, allowing less mank to accumulate than a traditional 'through-the-bottom' design.Despite some reviewers not being enamoured with the quality, I would have thought it obvious that it was going to be utilitarian plastic and made from one mould and joined together - how else would you do it?! Unlike ceramic, which would have been heavy when full and prone to breakage, this is easy to reposition or lift whilst containing cutlery. And, in reality, it isn't an expensive item when you factor everything in. I imagine it would be an ideal gift for the elephant lover too.Top marks!

Cute and useful at the same time
Love this little guy. Made of sturdy melamine type plastic (so should withstand even sharp knives without getting scratched up), it's a good size (handles a days worth of cutlery for four with space to spare), and cute to boot. I was a little wary of spending so much on 'just' a cutlery drainer, but I'm so glad I did - adds a cheery kitsch touch to washing up, and because it doesn't actually need to stand on the draining board it suits all types of kitchen, large or small.

Quirky and fun addition for my kitchen sink area.
Cute addition to the kitchen and makes washing up that little more fun. Good looking and practical. The excess water flows out of its trunk. It holds a lot of cutlery and doesn't topple over. I bought a white and grey one; the grey colour blends in with the sink and doesn't stand out against my wood worktop. The white colour really stand outs. Both lovely anyways.

Looks good, cute style
Pros:* Nice design* Drains cutlery wellCons:* Build quality isn't ideal, with a noticeable ridge between the two halves* Bit smaller than hoped, struggles with any larger cutleryOverall it's a useful addition to the kitchen, and worth it for the elephant style alone!

Fun, functional and quirky
I use this lovely elephant drainer as a drainer 😏 as advertised use is cutlery draining and it does the job nicely and looks fun on my draining board. Not sturdy with long items if there is no short items to weigh it down but I don't find that an issue just an adjustment. Life is about adjustment 😊

You must buy this!!!!
This is adorable! Got in white since that was the only Prime delivery option.... It really works well as a cutlery drainer and can fit a substantial amount of regular cutlery. It can also hold kitchen utensils! It drains out through the elephants trunk and is so super cute and looks stunning on my granite drainer. Highly recommend!!! Intend to buy all colours and use as plant pots for herbs....

Very cool and works well
I was concerned that this wouldn’t fit much cutlery in it but it holds a surprising amount. Perfect for our needs and looks really cool. The trunk drains well straight back into the sink. Needs cleaning as it does eventually get gunk in each end of the trunk, but not difficult to do.

Fun design and cheap, but a little plasticy.
TL;DR: Good looking and fun, but lacks the build quality.-----The elephant drainer arrived well packaged as I've grown to expect from my Amazon deliveries.I have purchased this as a Christmas gift for my other half and it looks as though it will do the job. I must say that it feels very plasticy, but for the price I paid I can't really complain. Even as a jokey kitchen drainer, it should do a reasonable job - especially for someone who doesn't currently have a cutlery tray.Build quality aside, it's a fun looking thing with a small hole for the water to drain from in the elephants trunk. No doubt this could get pretty grimey if it is not regularly cleaned. On the whole, happy with this purchase and hope my other half finds it as funny as I do.-----If you found this review useful, I'd really appreciate a helpful vote!
