The one with the extended seat post did not fit into the Polaris. But we took the bikes into Bay Area Bikes (Oakland, CA) and Clay replaced the extended seat post with a combo standard and telescoping seat post. You will need to remove the seat and the telescoping post to fit into the Polaris. With a little jiggling the bike, seat, and the post go in, but it is still a very tight fit. We recently used the Polaris cases for checkin luggage on Amtrak. No problems and bikes arrived in good condition. **Q: Will this fit a brompton with a rear rack installed? Thank you** A: It is quite narrow. I have tried Brompton with rear rack but it will not fit. The bag is very light and offer very good protection. **Q: Is this durable? Thank you** A: It is very durable and very light. **Q: Will it slide onto the front block so you can ride about with it?** A: No, there is no mount for that. The case is large as it fits the bike inside it and is more of a leave at the hotel than your with transport bag. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good value, good protection, but not quite bulletproof.. *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 July 2014* This is one of the best value Brompton cases available if you want to fly with your bike (though it seems that Polaris no longer lists it on their website, so who knows how much longer it will be available...) The other cases are either a lot more expensive, heavier, or don't provide as much protection. Very easy to use - just fold the bike and place it in the case. There are straps to hold the bike in place so it doesn't move around in transit. The case is big enough (and light enough) that there's room to stuff some clothes or other stuff around the bike when packed.My wife has had the same case for 2 years or so. Overall it has held up well, and most importantly protected her Brompton on many flights. However, the telescoping handle has become so bashed and dented it is almost impossible to use. It will also fit the brompton with rack provided you remove the saddle first because the overall folded height is taller than those without rack. You have the option to use any brand of pad lock on the zippers preferably the TSA approved. The telescopic handle is not too tall and easy for average height person to pull and the rollers are bigger than the B&W case. The bpod is 4.6kg compared to B&W that is 7kg. It also has shoulder strap attachment with the included strap.
