I apply this onto my hair after shampoo & conditioning with Creme of Nature Argan Oil products. This stuff is SO thick when it comes out the bottle that it retains its shape even when exposed to water. The only way it will dissolve is to work a tiny bit of product into your hair strands while wetting your hair in the shower. I use my Denman brush to style/slick back my hair. NOTE: Allow time for this stuff to dry in completely. If you don't use a hair dryer like me, I do chores and wait a few hours for the product to dry in. Your hair will turn into a hard shell, so don't freak out. To get the product out of your hair, all you have to do is thoroughly rinse your hair out a couple mins in the shower. I like this about the product bc this is the BEST way to maintain a neat hairstyle to where it controls frizz and I don't have to fix my thick hair as often.
