It's fits my ladder rack
My ladder rack had one Gas Spring out and this was exact replacement for it. This is an original manufacture replacement spring, my old one lasted 15+ years and I hope this will server well for many years to come. Yes, it fitted right in without any issues. A bit expensive, but it gives a peace of mind that it will hold the ladders in place when driving.

I like the product, hard find, only amazon has it available in prime.
I have a ladder rack for work that uses this spring to tighten the ladders . It’s a everyday use, I replaced both on each side. Only had to replace one after a year the other one still working.
