The way a persons morality & fears "justified" their actions is grounded & humanized in this feature. Usually when an actress fights a man, it is unbelievable. Some emaciated 99-pound woman cannot go toe to toe with a 250-pound muscle bound trained male fighter. This movie's fight scenes realistic, the female uses objects at hand, and the heroine does not always win. The action is terrific. Other commenters thought this unrealistic, but I do not. People lie and scheme all the time, disobey their superiors' directives thinking their judgement better.Spoiler Alert: What was really nice is two significantly evil men, responsible for many deaths, were themselves executed. Satisfying ending. The time flew. (I am usually doing kitchen chores while I watch, so this is an entertaining way to get mundane chores accomplished.)This is actually worth at least one more viewing.

First noticed NR in Girl With the Dragon Tatoo and Sherlock Holme’s Game of Shadows.IMO NR’s up there with Olga Kurylenko’s 15 Minutes of War and Maqqie Q’s Nikita/MI 3 as an action femme fatale. The storylines of NR’s movies are generally stronger, have better flow.NR’s right up there with her signature moves- hers is a different though strong beauty/brains combination. She’s not always so elegant, has a good physique that’s not so thin like a model on a runway, great female soldier, and has good intuition.In Unlocked NR’s interplay with Michael Douglas’ character is an intense whodunit/cat-mouse chase.

I truly loved watching this movie. I'm so used to figuring out the killer or the bad guys that I wasn't expecting the curve balls they kept throwing. I did catch one clue, but that's the only one. If a movie can pull me in and make me forget about everything for a little while, I consider it a success and this movie did exactly that. I like Michael Douglas in most of his roles and it was different to see Orlando Bloom in the one he plays, simply because I've not seen him in a role like this. There are places were the movie drags a bit, but those places don't last long. It's worth watching, especially since it's currently free on Amazon Prime :)

I like every movie with Noomi Rapace (Girl With the Dragon Tattoo trilogy, Black Crab, etc.). She's very talented and always delivers a good performance. Her character, Alice, is a CIA interrogator who blames herself for a terrorist attack years before. Another interrogator mysteriously dies and she's called up at the last minute to take over, but that leads to an unpredictable plot twist. Michael Douglas was the right choice to play her boss and he also delivers a good performance. Definitely worth watching.

This was a good st0ory, with some nice & unexpected twist & turns. I wish some of the fighting sequences were a little better, but everything was decently believable, with a stellar cast.

After the movie was over I had to check to see when the movie came out. I thought maybe 2022 but I was surprised to see 2017!! Very interesting!!

My second watch and I wasn’t disappointed. Noomi Rapace plays the part to the hilt. ( Girl/Dragon Tatoo [Swedish] , and Child 44) The plots not too complex and has a well-played, supporting cast. It never looses momentum with a very believable script. Worth the watch if you enjoy a good spy thriller.

Gerade eben habe ich mir den Agententhriller Unlocked mit Noomi Rapace, Orlando Bloom, John Malkovich und Michael Douglas angesehen und muss sagen, dass der ein richtig klasse Thriller ist, den man sich meiner Meinung nach unbedingt ansehen sollte.Die Kurzfassung von "Unlocked":"Alles in Unlocked beginnt damit, dass Alice (Noomi Rapace) von der CIA (angeführt von John Malkovich) zur Befragung eines festgenommenen Moslems gerufen wird, der offenbart hat, dass ein Anschlag auf ein amerikanisches Ziel in London verübt werden soll. Da für den Terror-Akt ein Virus zum Einsatz kommen soll, würden die Folgen dieser biologischen Attacke verheerend sein. Eigentlich hat Alice den aktiven Dienst als Agentin vor einiger Zeit quittiert, doch als klar wird, dass der Geheimdienst unterwandert wurde, muss sie nicht nur nach London reisen, um mit dem britischen Geheimdienst MI5 (angeführt von Toni Collette) den Anschlag zu verhindern, sondern sich auch noch vor einem Maulwurf in Acht nehmen. Schließlich produzierte Lorenzo di Bonaventura Unlocked in seinem eigenen Studio.Im Zuge der Dreharbeiten zu Unlocked bekam Noomi Rapace in einer Action-Szene einen Ellbogen ins Gesicht und brach sich die Nase. Sie wollte nach einer kurzen Ohnmacht jedoch weiterdrehen, weil sie den Vorfall nicht für sehr ernst hielt. Das genaue Ausmaß der Verletzung wurde erst viel später bekannt, sodass ihre falsch zusammengewachsene Nase erneut gebrochen werden musste, um sie zu richten.Seit der großartigen Millennium Trilogie bin ich ein sehr großer Fan von Noomi Rapace geworden, die auch in diesem Agenten-Thriller richtig tolle glänzt. Einfach eine klasse Schauspielerin an der Seite von Orlando Bloom und John Malkovich. Für mich war der Film am Anfang doch etwas verwirrend, aber zunehmens kommt man dann doch in die Geschichte rein, die, wie ich finde, das Thema Terrorismus richtig gut behandelt. Das war mal wieder ein Film, der genau nach meinen Film Geschmack war.

Unlocked hat mich angenehmst überrascht. Der Film überzeugt durch eine gute Handlung mit teilweise überraschenden Wendungen. Wer treibt ein falsches Spiel und wer ist ein Freund?Schauspielerisch ist der Film sehr gut besetzt, vor allem Orlando Bloom und Michael Douglas können überzeugen. Die weibliche Hauptrolle wird mit Naomi Rapace hervorragend gespielt. Aber auch John Malkovich und Toni Colette werden ihrem guten schauspielerischen Ruf gerecht.Ton- und Bildqualität der Blu-ray sind, wie von einer aktuellen Produktion zu erwarten, auf hohem Niveau.Wer gute Actionfilme liebt oder mindestens einen der fünf genannten Schauspieler mag, macht bei diesem Film nichts verkehrt.

Ein Film den man nicht unbedingt sehen muss aber Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden.Die CIA-Agentin Alice Racine hat den aktiven Dienst vor einiger Zeit quittiert. Während sie nun ein ruhiges Leben in London führt, wird sie plötzlich doch wieder zu einem Einsatz gerufen. Die CIA hat einen Verdächtigen festgenommen, der Informationen zu einem bevorstehenden Anschlag auf London haben soll. Alice hat den Verdächtigen im Verhör schnell geknackt, doch bevor sie die gewonnenen Informationen an ihre Vorgesetzten übermittelt, bekommt sie einen überraschenden Anruf von ihrem alten Kollegen aus Langley. Schnell bemerkt sie, dass sie getäuscht wurde und flüchtet. Als Alice begreift, dass die CIA unterwandert wurde, wendet sie sich an die Wenigen, denen sie noch vertrauen kann. Es beginnt ein Rennen gegen die Zeit. Wird sie den tödlichen Angriff auf London verhindern können?
