Edit: Great sound! Long battery life!
Highly recommend. Quality tech products and Bluetooth devices for a good price are rare. But that is exactly what this Bluetooth speaker is. I had one of these before that I took camping in rugged conditions, used in the shower etc, and this speaker took it like a champ for five years. I loved it. Unfortunately, these types of batteries can stop charging after a lot of use. So I got a new one, and it's equally fantastic. It's water-resistant, quality built, has great sound and bass, and it has good range. Definitely a good value for a rugged speaker that sounds great.

Super tough, reliable and portable speaker with AWESOME sound quality that is AFORDABLE! LOVE IT! 😍
I bought this speaker to go with our Echo Dot because I had heard that the Dot speaker is nice, but not great. I couldn't be happier with that decision! The speaker on the Dot is ok, but it's not good enough to use when we have people over, while we're outside playing, or while we're swimming. This little speaker is AMAZING!!! It charges quickly, the charge lasts through all day use and it is LOUD! And loud in a good way! We listen to all types of music - rock, rap, r&b, country, pretty much anything - and the sound quality is spot on, no matter what type of music we're listening to! The other day I connected the speaker to my phone and played some music from the Amazon music app while we were in the pool. I left my phone on the porch, about 50-55 feet away, so it wouldn't get wet and had the speaker on a table right next to the pool. It never lost the signal from my phone and at about a little over half the volume it was loud enough to be heard over the kids (and I have a 3 year old and an 11 year old that don't believe in talking, they prefer yelling), the pool filter running and an attachment we have for the pool that turns the clean water from the filter into a fountain that gets pretty noisy. We were in the pool for about 2 hours and the speaker got pretty wet from all the splashing (though it never got totally soaked or submerged) and it's still working like it was brand new. What I was most concerned about was it's ability to survive being dropped or whacked against something pretty hard because my 3 year old can be brutal to toys, or pretty much anything she gets her hands on! So far, it's been dropped at least 3 times, knocked into the wall twice while she was holding it and dancing/spinning and sat on about 5 times because she always ends up leaving it on the couch or chair (both of which are dark brown) instead of a table and sure enough someone (including my 140lb self) ends up plopping down on it. No damage to the speaker AT ALL!!! For spending just under $30 I feel like we got more than our money's worth! If I do one day have an issue with the speaker, I'm fairly confident this seller's customer service would be more than helpful with resolving any problems. I say this because they reached out to me after I bought the speaker to thank me for my purchase and to provide their contact information should I have any questions, concerns, or issues. About a week after I received the speaker they touched base with me once more to thank me again for the purchase, to say they hoped that I was happy with the product and to let me know that they were always available to help in any way possible. Now I know that actions speak louder than words, but since I have been more than happy with this speaker I have had no reason to put their "always here to help" claim to the test. If I should ever have to contact customer service in the future, I will update my review. I apologize for the length of my review, but I'm just so happy with this little speaker! I usually don't leave reviews because most of what I purchase on Amazon turns out to be just what I expected, no more and no less. But I've been so impressed by this Tribit speaker that I felt I had to share my experience. I hope this is helpful to anyone trying to decide if they should click that purchase button on this item. If you do, I sincerely believe that you will not be disappointed!!! 😄

Amazing Sound for 30 dollars
I got a different speaker before this and it sounded overly bassy and muddy. I see that's a common complaint for a lot of portable smaller bluetooth speakers. That's not the case here. It's really surprising how much bass this gives, but it is never muddy sounding. Highs and mids are very present and bass is articulate. I notice details in songs I haven't before. They are really crisp and detailed sounding speakers. App is really nice to customize EQ. I have it set to a more "v shape" cause that's my preference (v meaning high lows and high highs). Design is rock solid and looks attractive. Perfect speaker.

Almost there but no cigar. Great overall sound quality but some distortion even at moderate volumes
My bottom line: small, inexpensive speaker that didn't suffer from distorted sound coming from a speaker being too small and trying too hard! > Am really impressed, for a $30 speaker it's got decent sound quality and bass. The reviews for its main competitor, the Soundcore 2, said the Soundcore had a better bass boom, but that the XSound Go had the more balanced sound. That was it for me, the more balanced sound meant it was more likely to NOT suffer the usual distortion problems, and giving you the full soundstage for a natural sound is something these smaller speakers can rarely do. I've been very pleased: super small, the TWS stereo is wonderful, the price was low enuf I got two of them. It does suffer from distortion though. I play mostly at lower to mid volumes and even then, on some songs, it snds like its struggling. They must have figured out how to minimize it cause I don't find it super objectionable like I usually do, and some people might not even notice it. But it tells me that I have to go the next size larger in order to achieve my goal of small but no distortion (at moderate volumes) quality sound. Universal problem: The volume increase from the phone is not gradual at all, so it's hard to get just the right volume. With my larger Soundcore Motion Boom Plus I've learned to use its onboard volume control: roughly TWICE AS MUCH VOLUME GRADATION! Major plus for me. But the XSound Go does not possess this feature, the stupidly large volume shifts on my phone are the same using the XSound's volume controls. Bummer! I really wanted to give this unit 5 stars: love the overall sound quality, battery life, the small size, the build quality and sleekness of design, the stereo effect, the price. But that bit of distortion, even at moderate volumes, has me willing to go the next price point up unfortunately. > Was surprised to learn that this box has been out since 2018, with various changes along the way: USB C, TWS stereo, upgraded BT, longer range. But their other similar unit that would probably get the job done for me, the Tribit XSound 2, first came out last year, so the overall design is improved, and it's got nearly twice the wattage and the speaker itself is not that much bigger. However, it's twice the price. Am I being silly? I've got plenty of BT speakers, just not a pair of them for glorious stereo sound, which'll be a welcome mat to spending more time at my desk. So far the main contestants are the XSounds 2, the Wonderboom 4, and the Soundcore Motion 300. All of them twice the price! Oh well, this is a good problem to have, right?

Really impressed by the clarity of these
Surprisingly good sound at this price point and possibly any price point. I highly recommend buying them as a pair like I did. They pair easily and the stereo separation with two speakers is really impressive. Incredible clarity and more than enough volume for my home use, and no complaints about battery life. One minor complaint is they can’t play super low volume like when I would like to fall asleep to music. The lowest volume is either completely off or slightly too loud for falling asleep. Also I wish these speakers had a little more depth to the bass. Bass is clean and doesn’t distort at my listening volumes but it doesn’t exactly thump. One additional positive: I like them better than the paired Oontz speakers I got a few months earlier. Those had excellent sound quality but not quite as remarkably good as these, and the Tribits pair more easily and have slightly better bass. The Oontz speakers were the better choice for bedtime listening as they could play at a quieter volume.

This is a great unit after using it for 6 years.
I purchased this unit in 2020 and have been using it almost every day. I am amazed that is still working great with all the abuse I give it. The sound is great for the little guy and I have never had any problems with the battery life. I use it on my school bus I drive both morning and afternoon runs. I usually take the speaker home after 3 days to recharge the battery. For my elementary kids I turn it up and we all sing with the songs as we head to school.

Have speaker, will travel: Great little speaker for the price
I’ve got an old GoGroove SonaWave speaker purchased in 2012 which has served me well through the years and still works. It’s not a Bluetooth, though, and I couldn’t use it with my new phone. I also needed more volume in certain settings. After borrowing friends’ Bose SoundLink mini-speakers for use in VBS music, I decided to invest in a mini-speaker of my own, looking for a less expensive alternative to Bose. After comparing specs and experiences, I settled on this Tribit XSound Go. This speaker has been taken to the pool, beach, accompanied me on various car and plane trips, served in VBS music, blasts tracks when I’m working out at home – and it delivers. I switch back and forth easily from my iPhone to MacBook with Bluetooth connectivity. I’ve never had to re-pair after the initial setting, and all I have to do is disconnect from one device and reconnect with the other. Yet I can still use the aux-jack with my old non-Bluetooth laptop which I still use for music editing. I’m very much pleased with the volume and the sound quality. In leading VBS music in a choir room over the years, I found no significant difference between the previously borrowed Bose mini-speakers and the Tribit XSound Go. Neither are going to shake the walls in a larger room. In a smaller room like the spare bedroom where I do my workouts, the sound fills the room and I don’t need full volume to do it. The Housemate Husband is often closing the door so he can watch TV down the hall in peace. The bass notes come through fine, and I like a good bass when I’m working out. Again, it’s not going to shake the walls, but it’s more than adequate at less than full volume and covers up my enthusiastic whoops and hollers. Range for connectivity is good as well, discovered accidentally when trying to play something from my phone or laptop in the kitchen and hearing the sound emanate from the workout room. That’s a distance of 37 feet plus going around a corner another 6-8 feet. Some folks have faulted the speaker that there’s no forward-back button on the controls. Check the instructions: pressing play twice skips a track, pressing it three times repeats…. It works! As it is, I’m more likely to use the phone or laptop controls to skip or repeat. Time between charges is more than adequate. I’ve never really kept track of how long a charge lasts, but in taking the speaker to the pool several days a week and using it 2-3 hours at a time I may need to charge it once a week. The light by the power button will start flashing red slowly when it’s getting close to needing a recharge (those instructions again!); by the time the speaker tells you “Battery low” and the red light is flashing faster, there’s not much of a charge left and it’ll shut off within a few minutes. Overall, no drawbacks, only positives in over 9 months of regular use, and I can recommend this speaker for home and travel.
