Just seems to work as well as the other ones AT&T and Verizon and T-Mobile all sell their service to smaller companies for a cheaper price this seems to work without having to worry about $100 bill every month and I like that so I will continue to use this service thank you

sim card DOA。
my line had really bad luck with Redpocket. redpocket sim DOA. customer support tries to help. telling me to reset this and that wasting my time. i tried the sim with different phones which already proved that the sim is dead. all they say is you can buy a sim at their site. bought a sim from them waited 6 days , tracking says delivered but nothing in the mail box or door steps.customer service tell me to wait another day because tracking can be buggy.somtimes it will show up next day.waited 2 more days and nothing so i ordered a tello sim and it got delivered next day . took about 10 minutes to setup everything and ported my number. redpocket had number porting restriction on by default so have to go set it off before porting...wasted 9 days wit redpocket .their customer service should have offer e a free sim in the first place since i already paid the monthly plan and ported my number over.if everything is good then i will be porting the other 2 lines over to tello next month

Affordable plan
Switched from Mint Mobile because I needed a provider that participates in Affordable Connectivity Program. Data throttling after using 5GB does suck, and is quite frustrating to use, but still useable for emergencies. Expect to spend 30-90 seconds sending a picture to a friend, if you've used up your high-speed data allowance.Red Pocket does not offer 5G service in my area, whereas Mint Mobile does. Unfortunate. but still, cheaper than the big-name phone providers.

Try before you buy
This is absolutely not the product I expected from Red Pocket. I've used Red Pocket GSMA (AT&T) for 4 years. I recently learned that 5G coverage and speed from T-mobile is much faster than AT&T. I took a 3-month trial from T-Mobile and the speed was very impressive 579 mbps vs my Red Pocket GSMA (AT&T) 200 mbps. So I decided to switch to Red Pocket GSMT (T-mobile). This turns out to be a wrong decision.I made the switch yesterday evening and everything looked good despite the 5G speed was 170 mbps. I guess maybe the signal is not that great in my place. But next morning the 5G signal went away and there is only 4G LTE signal on my phone and the speed was 84 mbps. Since I didn't make any change on my phone setting. I guess maybe something wrong with the carrier side. After 4 hours chatting with Red Pocket, I realize the MNC in APN somehow couldn't be set as 280 as instructed by them. Now I can only use 4G LTE signal on my phone and I am still waiting for solution from Red Pocket. My recommendation is "try before you buy" testing the coverage and speed. Otherwise you may waste your money.

Red Pocket Mobile: Your Wallet's New Best Friend with a Catch
Ah, Red Pocket Mobile, the David to the Goliath of mobile carriers, where the slingshot is your budget and Goliath is... well, every expensive phone plan ever. At a mere $20 a month, this plan whispers sweet nothings to your wallet, promising a romance free from the shackles of overpriced commitments. The plan comes with a SIM card as free as the air we breathe, designed for T-Mobile-compatible phones. It's like finding a golden ticket, except it's not golden, it's a SIM card, and your chocolate factory is, in fact, just decent cell service. But here's the rub: like a superhero with a questionable power, Red Pocket's network priority is akin to being at the back of the line at every concert ever. It's basic, like a pumpkin spice latte in autumn. Sure, it does the job, but don't expect it to be the first one picked for the digital dodgeball team.Coverage? Think of it as a game of cellular hide and seek. In the city, you're 'it', connected and content. Venture too far into the unknown (also known as rural areas), and you might find yourself playing solitaire with actual cards instead of your phone.TL;DR: Red Pocket Mobile is the budget-friendly, no-frills phone plan for those who enjoy simplicity and savings, with a side of 'please hold, your call is somewhat important to us'. Perfect for the casual caller, the frugal texter, and everyone who believes in keeping their bank account as full as possible.
