I have had no complaints. It is quiet and efficient.I am considering on buying another for another part of our house.We are using it in our family room where we spend most of our time. Would buy again since it is a medical quality machine.

Noticed a difference in air quality. Quiet & powerful

Not only does this purifier lack an auto feature, the controls themselves are hidden underneath a piece of nearly opaque plastic. When they're lit up you can see them. But using the controls is often a matter of hunt and peck. Not good.Compared to the Levoit, this fan is noisy, indicating a lack of engineering precision.Notice in the picture, the upper 004 reading in green indicates the air quality is good. And the 001 PM2.5 particulate reading is excellent. HOWEVER, notice the RED HCHO reading in the picture. That is an indication of DANGEROUS levels of formaldehyde in my bedroom.IOW, the Westinghouse air purifier is great for removing particles in the air. But it fails to remove noxious gases, which is the sole reason I purchased it.I don't know about you, but I have become VERY determined. You cannot believe ANY of the marketing literature out there. And simply buying the most expensive purifier isn't the answer either. I've assembled an Amazon shopping list of air purifiers that claim to remove VOCs. And starting with the most inexpensive one, I will keep buying them and sending them back until I find a purifier that ACTUALLY removes formaldehyde.Read the comments and notice how FEW of them mention formaldehyde. If you haven't bought an Air Quality Meter, you really should. My guess is, you will be shocked at what you find. MOST homes contain items that are emitting high levels of formaldehyde, a toxic carcinogenic chemical. If you fell for the marketing hype and purchased one of those expensive memory foam mattresses (like I did) along with a fancy bed set, then you're a prime candidate. That mattress and bed set could very well be killing you softly, as they say.DON'T rely on your nose alone. Some of the worst toxins are completely odorless. And as the picture clearly shows, you may have a room that SEEMS very clean compared to the rest of the house and yet still be reeking dangerous imperceptible chemicals.GET SERIOUS, BUY AN AIR QUALITY METER.Then you'll KNOW FOR SURE just how good your air purifier really is.Sending this one back.

Amazing product using it absolutely making a difference would highly recommend!

My dog got sprayed by a skunk. I put her in my bathroom where there is not a vent or a window to open. I bought soooo many products to try and get rid of the smell. This was the ONLY thing that worked! AND I was able to buy it with my FSA $Also put this in my daughters room that had a lingering smell/funk. Cleared it right up in a day.If you continue to use it in the same room constantly it will leave a metallic smell. I think it’s the smell of really clean air! LOL

I’m an air quality nerd in general and have been learning about air quality and air filtration for couple years. I’m an engineer by trade so I always do an analysis by following the numbers.I Own plenty of high and low end filters ranging from 1000$ to 45$. All varying in quality but you might find the price isn’t always what you get these days.This model isn’t a great one for moving air since it’s so tiny. Particulate matter is sub par compared to others in the price range. You could easily find a true hepa filter with higher CADR.But the uniqueness of this filtration system is the Ncco. Created by an entrepreneurial group in Hong Kong—the idea is based off of catalytic oxidation. I own a pco filter and it emits ozone (I know that smell) and it doesn’t remove voc at a measurable rate.This ncco however has surprised me after I did some controlled test. I initially smelled a bit of ozone ( as it uses activated oxygen) but that soon passed as the directions say it will smell funny but it is expected.If you are looking for something to remove tvoc. This is an option. Better than most activated carbon filters. The technology ncco is robust and removes gases in a reasonable timely manner. Voc gasses are extremely hard to remove as I’ve used multiple systems and even rolled my own carbon filter. This clogs up quick and needs new activated carbon.This unit itself could use improvement for sure. But it’s a viable solution for voc. I wouldn’t buy it for anything else to be honest and I would pair it with a high cadr true hepa filter.Overall I’m pleased as I already have filers to remove PM quickly but I will be looking for better builds later. ncco works for me since I see the numbers get to 0 around there given is no air blowing in stay around there. Amazing if you ask me! Ncco is a promising tech that seems to be under wraps but this could change a lot in today’s age of respiratory diseases.The directions are almost on existent so pay attention to the pictures on the box and read the instructions. You need to remove the bag around the hepa as well as install the ncco chamber. Let it run for a while like an hour and it should work.

I will be returning this item. Please do not recycle used product to buyers who are buying new. I hope this is an honest mistake. I have purchased another one and will be returning the used item I received.****After receiving a new unopened product I must say that I am very pleased with it. And would recommend this purchase as well.
