can you remove the fluid head peice?

Yes. The tripod has a 3/8" thread (not 1/4")

Can you replace the ballhead on this with "ulanzi falcam f38 quick release ball head" ?

The tripod has a 3/8 screw thread so you can replace the existing ball head with any tripod head of your choosing. The ball head that comes with this tripod is not the best…the body is made mostly out of plastic and you really have to tighten the lock knob to get the head to stay in position. It’s ok for the price.
