Incredible cables at a fantastic price
After 1 hour of evaluation I have just bought another pair ! my very expensive Morgamis are now relegated to running the TV audio system via my Sansui 661 receiver My Sansui 999 loves these cables through vintage Kef Calindas now off to try then through the Wharfdale Linton 85 anniversary speakers with the 405 Quad system , hence the second pair of these cables The guy on Utube was right .... ( Huff ? ) more detail, more bass ,really airy , top end so smooth they are a joy & sound really organic in a way & what a price !! Anyone out there reading this review who does not believe cables make a difference just buy a pair of these , if you have a decent system that will benefit from them

Absolute Hifi bargain
The reviews for this item online ( check out hifihuff on YouTube which convinced me to give them a try ) are fully justified. Good quality, plugs were snug fit intoWharfedale Lintons and flexible cables . Sound quality was excellent , provided a clear open soundstage and at this price was an absolute bargain

Great cable for reasonable money.
If you are one that believes that spending hundreds on cables makes a difference, then this review is not for you. For everyone else, I have at this moment £7500 worth amplifiers, a 11.2 pre amp, 7 channel power amp and a MS 6i integrated two channel amp, over the years I have tried them all, my speakers currently are monitor audio gold 300's and a pair of q acoustics concept 300's, they both use this cable, the build quality is good, the sound is the same as every other cable I have ever tried, they do exactly what it says on the tin, not sure what else to say, excellent value for the money, easy to route, not stiff like some more expensive, highly recommend.

Great value cables
I wanted to put at least a couple of hundred hours on the cables before writing a review. Like many others I thought that I would give these a try after seeing the hi huff review. Yes they are excellent cables for the money, I did read one review on here claiming he loved the darker warmer British sound. For me they come across to be very neutral in my system. Which consists of a Roksan K3 dac further digital side of things. A very heavily modified rega planer 3. For the phono stage there is a mark travis valve mm. Both this and the Roksan are fed into a Densen dm20 preamplifier using xangsane XS-9003AG silver interconnects from the Densen to a pair of fully restored quad mono blocks, which in turn are feeding a pair of quad ESL 57'S. I fact I would say they show the recording for exactly what it is. A fairly neutral recording will come across such. A warm recording will come across as warm. If you have a warm sounding system, these cables may well suit you. If you have a cool sounding very analytical system. They may not . However at this price point you have very little to loose by giving them a try. But remember they need a decent burn in period before been able to fully assess them.

I purchased these Micca speaker cables on the recommendation of Steve Huff, an on-line high-end audio equipment reviewer (also check out his Youtube channel). Steve said these particular Micca cables were the "best he had heard for under $1,000.00" (not a typo). So for $40 bucks (for the 12ft cables) I thought I'd give them a try. I'm a retired former Audio Store owner (for 37 years) and I now collect quality vintage audio equipment as a hobby. Currently, I am using a pair of 2005 edition B&W 705 Bookshelf speakers (as well as a pair of vintage Yamaha NS-20M Studio Monitor speakers), powered by a mid 1970s era Yamaha CA-1000 integrated amplifier (which has a "Class A" mode as well as Class A/B). Bass is augmented with a Klipsch R-120SW 12" powered sub (I also have a Sunfire Sub as well as several Paradigms). It sounds pretty decent. I am an "audio enthusiast," but not an audiophile (if I can get 80-90% of the performance for half the price of something "better," I'm happy with that). These Micca cables are well constructed and attractive. And having 245 strands of wire, they are VERY flexible even though they are double jacketed/insulated (the flexibility of a limp noodle comes to mind). One Amazon reviewer noted that his cables arrived with a sharp kink in each due to the way they were wound up in the package. Yep, mine had the kink(s) too. However, I was easily able to get the kink(s) out by using a hair dryer (set on High), putting a bit of tension on the cable(s), and passing the dryer over the kinked area (about 3"-4" in length in the middle of the cable) for a minute or two to make the cable relax and straighten out. Easy fix. No harm, no foul (but the manufacturer should take steps to eliminate this issue). I have always been skeptical that ultra-high priced speaker cables (which I personally consider to be ~$100 a pair, and over) are worth the money. Perhaps they do improve a $10,000-$20,000 + system, but I don't have that (and don't intend to). The speaker cables I had been using were commonly available 14 gauge Oxygen-Free Copper wire purchased on 100 ft. spools for around $40-$50 bucks, and I wasn't convinced these Micca cables would make any discernable difference in the sound. But I ordered a pair to give them a try. Well, after extended listening sessions to several dozen well-recorded vocals/instrumentals of various genres of music, the difference is subtle, but it's audible. Vocals seem to be a tad more "open," the sound stage appears to be a bit wider as well as having more depth, and the treble is slightly smoother. Was that worth $40 bucks? Well, my test has always been "would I buy this product again" (essentially, is it worth the money)? Regarding these Micca speaker cables, my answer is Yes. Highly recommended for the money. _______ A couple of notes: 1) If your speakers have screw terminals rather than banana plug inputs, instead of cutting the banana plugs off on one end, I'd recommend purchasing a set of 4 banana-to-spade adapters. You might need the banana plugs for speakers you purchase at a later date (link below). https://www.amazon.com/Hi-end-Adapter-Speaker-Connector-Wy-yp01/dp/B00X9FET7I/ref=sr_1_15?crid=2RUWQ068FHBOT&keywords=banana+to+spade+adapter&qid=1675494175&sprefix=banana+to+spa%2Caps%2C87&sr=8-15 2) I wish Micca offered their speaker wire on spools so we could make our own custom lengths, if needed.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt I had to after using this cable. If you're still thinking about whether you should get it or not...Stop thinking and just get it!!..At this price you can't really go wrong. They are better than a lot of expensive cables out there. I'm using it to connect my Dali Oberon 9 floor standing speakers to my Marantz cinema 50 av receiver and the sound is just great. My more expensive cable has now been relegated to No 2 after using this.
