I just received this the other day, and I'm impressed. This has a heavy duty feel to it. The pointed end feels very sharp to the touch, and I feel better now that I have it. Honestly, I hope I never have to use it. If possible, I would recommend putting it in your center console between the driver and passenger seats. My door storage is not very deep and I'm afraid it would fall out, and IMHO, the glove compartment is too far away, especially if your seatbelt is locked. I would also recommend watching YouTube videos on how to escape from a car should you go into the water.

Well made, heavy weight, sharp point & good length handle.

Since windows in a car are now fully electric., a manual way to exit is essential in an emergency. This tool fulfills that purpose. Easy to use, and has enough weight to make it easy for my wife to use.

Looks well made, feels heavy and substantial. Put one in each of our 4 cars in the driver side door bin to be easily accessible in case of emergency. Hope we never have to use it.

I had to buy this tool because I hear of people who are unable to get out of their car after an accident and die. I hope I will never have to use it, but I feel very secure that I will be able to escape the car if it is on fire or if I roll over or go into water. I can help someone else, too.

These are very nice. I put one in my car and one in my husband’s car. They seem very heavy duty, and should last forever. If you’re having troubles, picking a seatbelt cutter, just pick this one. It’s good.

Bought for safety

I bought the gold ones, which look awesome. I was really impressed with the quality and weight of these glass breakers, and that they came in a 2 pack. They have a rubber tip to cover the pointy end, and come with a nice silver pouch. I feel a lot more secure traveling with these in my backpack in case of getting stuck inside a vehicle should anything happen.

Nice quality hammer and cutter…but since i bought it ive noticed different colours and double deals..I think you need multiples of these in the car..as a full car can’t wait in turn to use it..Lovely positive feel….unlike the cheap plastic ones,of which i now put those for the back seat passengers..

This feels like a professional grade rescue tool. Took it to fire practice and guys all ordered for their wives. Might be nice to send them in a glasses style case so they can be stored in a side pocket of car.
