Which hex key size fits better: 5/16 or 8mm?

8 mm is 5/16 I never used this feature these vise grips remind me of old Irwin’s of years ago I think there worth the money I think it’s a good investment

Mine came apart and I can’t get the back together. Is there a way to fix this?

I truly do t know how they could come apart. If you screw the bolt out too far it may seem that they came apart. Fold the middle piece towards the teeth end then push the handles together and screw the bolt back in.

What is the weight of this unit in grams? 2.4 ounces don't look right

It is 354 grams, .78 lb, and 12.99 ounces. I would have thought it would be more. Best locking plier I have ever had.
