But the reality of this is that it only stays on because the hole in the lid is not properly bored. This means if you plan on rinsing tea, you will have a problem because it takes at least 30 seconds to drain the pot. This makes brewing teas very difficult. Even with all this, I would not be so sore if it weren't for the fact that upon revisiting a $17 yixing pot I bought on desertcart, I realized how bad quality this one is. This pot costs way too much and they do not deserve any acclaim as a yixing seller.
