My all time favorite setting powder. The finish is so beautiful and looks airbrushed. It also lasts all day, even in hot Texas weather! I've been using it for about 10 years now and I don't think I'll ever stop. It performs the same as high-end setting powders but costs less than $7 for 1. I was so happy when they came out with the talc free version because for a while they only had the talc version so I thought I was going to have to stop using it. Also bonus points for the smell, it smells amazing, kinda like baby powder. Would recommend! -Tip: Take out the plastic filter/sifter in the inside to get more powder out or to directly dip your beauty blender/brush into the powder!

I remember back in the late 60's and early 70's sneaking into my mom's make-up drawer in the bathroom to use this same powder. I have been using the original for years, and never really minded the smell since it goes away once applied. This is first time using the talc-free translucent formula. The smell is lighter- a bit citrus or lemon scent, but the coverage is what made the biggest impression. I am not wrinkly nor scarred, but habits of a lifetime of not wanting to be shiny or blotchy make me so happy this provides an even, matte and bright pearly finish. I have found the pads from the old container are much better than the sponge pads so I just wash them and reuse.... UPDATE: 6/19/25 for me this powder still looks beautiful, but I started noticing a grainy texture to my face and little hard bumps that I never had before, then followed by some painful red patches, that have persisted. I did a bit of research of discussions on this new formula with many preferring the original, and though I am still not sure it was this powder, it is the only thing in my simple make up process for decades that is different, and I'm not really liking other brands so I will be ordering the original formula.

Theres a reason this powder has been around for around 100 years! It really is the best powder around. I’m very fair skinned and the translucent works perfectly for me. Also a little goes a long way. It’s very affordable , approximately $5-$6 and it lasts for a long time since you don’t need much. I definitely recommend this! And every time I run out I immediately buy more!

I have normal to dry 42 year old skin. This translucent powder is amazing! Lays on very light and translucent and doesn’t dry the skin at all! No patching and seems seamless. Lays over makeup so nicely and last all day! Only drawback is the smell is very strong baby powder/floral. If you don’t like strong scent, you won’t like this. But if you can get past the smell it is soooo good!!!

I have used this product for many years and love it. I apply it with a big powder brush, and it provides good coverage and keeps my face from being shiny. It has no noticeable smell and comes in an easily opened container. It is a great no-frills powder.

i bought this thinking I was going to end up returning it. The only thing I don’t like is the fragrance, it smelled like an old lady and for me it didn’t fade away First picture is the powder on top of my thin light to medium coverage foundation before setting spray. It added just the right amount of extra coverage without making me look cakey. The second picture is after using my elf grippy setting spray. The powder melted beautifully with 2 heavy layers of the spray
