This cable correctly locks into the 'phones' physically and has proved excellent for PC / Laptop use. I have gamed, watched video sand listened to music and speech with this cable in use and had results as ecpected. There is [it seems to me] no noticable audio quality difference when using this cable rather than any supplied with the 'phones'.

My sons headphones started playing up, initially worried we checked his wire vs mine since I have the same family of Sennheisers for my own use - figured it was the wire, bought this, all working again. Sure the Sennheiser wire is kinda non-standard, but I am glad it's all modular and easy to replace.

The product was packaged well (I really like the leather-like cable tie!) and the sound works well for me. I'm not too knowledgeable on the minutiae of sound quality, but it isn't bad in my own testing. Now for the silly part. This cable unofficially supports the Sennheiser HD450 BT due to the jack size and locking mechanism - but I didn't read which headphones this supports. The cable's exterior is just barely too big to properly fit! So why am I not docking any stars off? Because you can still kind of get it to work, if you force it in. Just be aware that it will take significant force (I recommend both hands) to remove it from the headphones. I accidentally knicked the exterior (and myself) trying to take it out, but that is user error and not the fault of the product. Note that I got the TPE version, so you may have better grip if you decide to go with the Braided Nylon one. Overall, make sure you double-check the compatibility list before buying.

Cable fine, but the adapter that came with it broke off first use into my M-Audio AIR 192x4 USB C Audio Interface! if I can't remove it, £60 down drain if I can't get it fixed. Ridiculous.

I suspected the audio cable had a problem in my Sennheiser HD599 headphones. This audio cable fits perfectly and the sound is excellent. Great buy for the money, highly recommended. Oh, and even comes with a little leather clip to hold the wound cable.

This is probably the 4th replacement cable I have had to purchase for my soon to be 20 year old Sennheiser HD 598. This cable brand seems to be quite a lot thinner but also lighter than the original and other replacements available, it feels less rubbery and more firm, tougher, almost plastic like. The failure point in each and every cable I have owned before was always at the 2.5mm end that goes into the headphones, the cable gets damaged due to wear and tear at that end and you lose audio in one ear, I think the cable being lighter and less rubbery is going to help, but only time can tell!
