We get a lot of use from the Lavabag
We use this almost daily for stiff necks or shoulders. We had one that lasted 5 yrs before the small lava rocks started leaking from the cloth bag. Expensive but worth the money.

Decent, but feels expensive
Doesn’t get as warm as other microwavable heating pads, but has zero odor or scent which is appreciated.

Small
This is very well made and has a great weight. It does get very hot in a short amount of time in the microwave. I love that it is washable which is what drew me to this product. However. It is rather small. It is difficult to make it fit on my neck as it doesn’t drape over my shoulders at all. It is great for lower back pain or menstrual pain. It also doesn’t retain the high heat for as long as my rice pack but does feel somewhat warm for a long time making it nice for comfort. I would have given it 5 stars if it were about 6” longer.

Expensive but quality materials
I found the brand elsewhere but purchased through Amazon for the prime shipping.I make my own rice pillows, but was looking for something weightier to help with some workout sore spots. The price is a bit much, but at least the materials seem high quality. It doesn’t come with a removable cover, which was fine for me because I prefer to have less material between me and the heat source and keep my microwave very clean. If you’re crafty you could make a cover for it easy, but they sell branded ones.Heats up in less time than the rice pillows I have of similar size. Holds heat well and I love the weight and way it forms to my body for things like shoulder injuries. The fabric is fairly thick feeling, it’s definitely going to hold up to use. With any microwave heat item I recommend putting a mug of water in with it when you heat it up. The moisture helps prevent any damage to fabrics. I haven’t had any issue when I don’t use water but it’s a good habit to prolong the life of any microwave pillow item.Definitely will be keeping and eye on future products by the company, and might buy some sand to make my own custom pillows.

Helps with the arthritis in my hands and other joints
I have arthritis showing up in some of my joints and I got this to add heat to the joint to help with the pain. This product is nice because it is weighted and it stays put on the joint where it is placed. It heats up rather nicely and evenly. The instructions say to start at 90 seconds in the microwave and to adjust according to you own microwave. My microwave did a great job for the 90 seconds. I was able to use the product for about 12 minutes on my hand before the product cooled enough that I couldn't feel a heat difference any more.I keep bees and one of the things that happens when around bees is that you occasionally get stung. When I get stung in the hand, my hand swells rather large. I will be using this product as a cold compress to help reduce the swelling. The cold compress will be so much better that a frozen block of jell that I have used before because it is weighted and flexible. Just put it in the freezer for 4+ hours. The bag is made of quality materials and is quality made. Since the stuff inside the bag is lava sand, it will be able to handle being heated and cooled many times for a long service life.I like this product.

Not worth the price
Prosit does not stink.ConsDoes not keep the heat very long, my corn heat bag stays twice as long.Heavy! The shape is a little bit odd to be useful for anything.Right after getting it out of microwave, it feels too hot to handle. But the problem is the heat disappeared really quickly.Overall, it is not too bad, but for the price, I was expecting to be completely in love with it. I was very disappointed with how quickly the heat disappear.

Well-made, comfortable, portable, and holds temperature reasonably well
I absolutely love this weighted hot/cold pack. I suffer from chronic neck and low back pain and I often use heat and ice to help relieve the discomfort. I needed a hot/cold pack that could pass TSA requirements for travel so I was happy to find this one.It is compact, well-made, and versatile. I like the deep charcoal gray color and the outer fabric is comfortable against my skin. It heats quickly and holds temperature well. When using it as a cold pack, it doesn’t get ice cold but its cold enough to relieve the fiery inflammation that I experience in my neck. And best of all, the sheer weight of this pack allows it to contour and really hug my neck while delivering a satisfying cooling sensation.I have had other scented ones similar to this in the past but they weren’t as well-made. After a year of use, they smelled burnt and fell apart. I like that this one has no scent and it looks to be made of quality materials. I am very pleased with this hot/cold pack. It works well at home but it also makes a great travel companion for my achy back and I would not hesitate to recommend it others.

Love it
This my first time using heat pad for my castor oil therapy. Though it’s kind of heavy, but I like it. Love it on the first night. Natural materials is what I’m seeking for. No smell. Can be heat up using oven and the heat last for more than 3 hours (exact timing unknown as I doze off deeply). Bought a second one once I wake up for my shoulder back as well. Simply just love it. No regrets.
