Never could get it to work with any combination of monitors and output devices. Another bundle of wire to add to my gigantic mountain of Chinese Amazon garbage. I got it specifically to have my Apple TV and or my PS4 viewable on a small SD monitor that only had RCA’s or composites. No signal nothing. garbage.

I have a brand new older model, DVD player. Thanks to this court. I can finally use it.

Doesn’t work with a smart tv.

I have a history of buying the wrong cable for things on the internet (ADHD tax), and this continues on in the same fashion. I wanted a female RCA cable to male HDMI cable. Anyways, I tried to use this to hook my laptop up to my TV, but of course my TV has different colored nodes on the side (no yellow, only green, 2 reds, a white and a black) I tried all sorts of combinations, but I was never able to figure out the correct one to get the image or sound to show up on my TV. I don't think it was necessarily the cable's fault though, probably my own. I *think* I'd be able to figure it out considering that I used to work in a theatre and could set up sound & lighting equipment correctly, but I ran out of troubleshooting patience and gave up. Cable seems legit. It comes in a ziplock style bag and with a protector over the hdmi end.

HDMI to RCA not the other way around.

I had an older DVD player with 3 prong connector but newer TV with only hdmi plugs..no 3 prong inserts. This plug solves that problem and allows you to plug older devices into newer tv's to continue using them. Works well as it should.
