There are other reviews on desertcart for watches by this manufacturer which say the quality is poor, the watch broke, or bits have fallen off - this has not been my experience. The watch keeps good time (plenty good enough for me) and nothing has gone wrong or fallen off. Maybe I have been lucky? The build quality is fine, not quite sure it is 'Swiss' but easily as good as a Timex or Casio. The strap was OK, but it has been replaced with a tan leather one (which cost £12), not that it was broken but as a matt black leather strap it did not suite the watch. The tan strap has changed the look of the watch greatly and goes much better with the cream face and blue hands/numerals. If you want a classic looking watch that doesn't cost the earth this is well worth considering. Review: WHY HAS THE RETURN DATE CLOSED SO EARLY?
