The watch keeps good time (plenty good enough for me) and nothing has gone wrong or fallen off. Maybe I have been lucky? The build quality is fine, not quite sure it is 'Swiss' but easily as good as a Timex or Casio. The strap was OK, but it has been replaced with a tan leather one (which cost £12), not that it was broken but as a matt black leather strap it did not suite the watch. The tan strap has changed the look of the watch greatly and goes much better with the cream face and blue hands/numerals.
