PHILIPS2700K Low Energy GU10 LED Spot Bulbs, 3.5 W - Warm White, Pack of 2

Never did I think I would post a review of a light blub, but here I am doing just that. A few days ago I was your typical light fixture owner in need of a replacement set of bulbs, trying to make sense of the endless choices out there. I have always hated the light from LED bulbs. Period. But surely I can't be so selfish as to put aesthetics ahead of the environment? I mean, the economic case for LED bulbs is so clear that surely I should just lump it and get used to living in freakishly unnatural light? No more. These bad boys have changed everything. They represent the ultimate fusion of beautiful light and economy. If you burst into my home right now and ran into the kitchen, you would not for one second question the quality of the light. You would feel perfectly at home, bathed in the warm halogen-like glow of these exquisite bulbs. Forget everything else, these are all I will buy from now on.

I have used many makes of LED bulbs over the years and none compare to Philips. These give an excellent warm light and are bright enough to illuminate a hallway without being so bright you can't stand beneath them.Don't waste your money on other brands, always buy Philips.Pros- Superb light, very warm and clear- Fit in a standard downlighter (same size as halogen GU10)Cons- None

Used these to replace OEM LED lights which were unreliable, and which gave out a strong white light, not very natural looking.These lights are brilliant, they give out a nice yellowy light, similar to a halogen filament.This gives a warm feel, lovely in the kitchen and not too "white" and "blinding".Good price, good quality, lovely light output so whats not to like.....excellent philips

After much agonising over which temperature LED bulbs to use I selected these warm white bulbs for my bathroom. They perform brilliantly, giving out possibly more light and similar quality of light than the equivalent 35 watt incandescent bulb. Thus avoiding a cold light in the bathroom. I shall use these bulbs throughout the house as the opportunity arises.o

In my opinion, Philips make the best bulbs and these lived up to my expectations. They are slightly brighter than the halogens they replaced (equivalent wattage) and I would say the colour temperature is slightly cooler, though not enough to be of concern. They still give a nice warm (and clean) light and you can only really tell the difference if directly comparing against the halogen. They are well made, and at this price a no brainer given the power savings. Overall very impressed, so much so that the rest of the spots in the house are getting replaced with a repeat order. Go buy.

Got my delivery real quick! I was thinking 3.5watt GU10 stoplight would be a dim light and I could save some (£). But that's not the case, this light is bright and it's about 35 watts instead of just 3.5 watts. For that reason I'm giving 3 stars, sorry!Any recommendations and help when to get dim spotlights, would be good!

I love these LED GU10s. I've been through a range of GU10 LED bulbs to try to find something that matches my incandescent bulbs for temperature/etc. After a few passes, the closest I've found are Philips 2700K bulbs, and they are great. Running on less than 1/10th the electricity and with an expected life of many years, these bulbs are awesome and will save you a LOT of money.

I bought these to replace some cheapo unbranded GU10 energy efficient bulbs that I bought off eBay. The difference is astounding. My cheap bulbs took a good 10-15 seconds before they emitted anything like enough light to light a room, but these are instant - I'm talking incandescant bulb type speed. They're incredibly bright and almost feel like spotlights compared to the other bulbs remaining in the room they are in. If I had the money I'd instantly replace ALL the cheap bulbs with these, but will have to do them over time. Sure they are a bit more expensive than the cheap ones off eBay etc. but the performance difference more than makes up for it.
