Pearl Rapid Lock Super Grip Hi-Hat Clutch HCL-205QR

Simply put, it saves me about 10 minutes at every gig putting the hi hat on and taking it off. It’s extremely good quality and has made my life easier... I’m all for anything that does that. Brilliant! Drummers thinking about it, get one, it’s worth every penny! I’ve been recommending them to all of my drumming friends, several of whom have bought one after seeing mine and loving it.

Exactly what I needed. Adjusting everything in the first place with the locking key is a bit fiddly but once done, it's done. No adjusting every time you play. Great time saver.

i swapped this out on my yamaha hi-hat and have gigged with it several times now! No more clutch nut working loose mid song! love this especially being able to set the top hat looseness. its just put the hihat together and go! great product!

Great value

I've got lots of excellent Pearl hardware, including a great double bass drum pedal, and lots of great cymbal stands. This clutch was a big disappointment though.. no matter how tightly I tighten the big wing nut, it usually comes undone when I start hopping on the hi-hat pedal, so it's no good really.. surprising for a Pearl product..

I really love these memory lock cymbal holders. It makes setting up and breaking down my hi-hat so much faster and easier. It is durable and great quality. It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it.

No more tightening the hat holders anymore. Super quick set up and set down. Very secure so far. What more could you want? If you live in Canada expect to be charged an additional 15 bucks from FedEx for customs handling fee.
